FeenstaubTX is an exciter and expander effect based on audio transient processing.

It enhances and refines signals in a mid/side configuration with saturation and expansion effects, allowing for unique signal coloration, transient management and glue effects, as well as sublime control over the stereo image.

Its designed to work on complex full program stereo material for very gentle balancing audio in three dimensions: Timbre, dynamic structure, and stereo field. While all areas are touched only slightly, it creates a musical consistency that brings some analog feel back into the digital realm, and the signal appears subtly colored and sprinkled with a little magic.

Keep in mind that the Transformer effect operates in multiband and alters the phase.

everything alters phase relations, eq, compression, saturation, noise, crosstalk, stereo spreads, reverbs - everything. unless it irrecoverably mangles the signal, it's not the end of the world. it's called audio processing.

Double phase mangles
You can't expect much from a free plugin to have linear phase crossovers option for multiband processing.

it appears that the plugin fully operates in mid/side mode and the M/S encoding is done at the earliest stage before other processing, judging from how the other two buttons reacts. If it really is that way, meaning the transformer effect crossover is done in mid/side mode and plugin doctor probably not giving accurate reading.

I'm kinda busy right now to verify it but if you can do it, you can run the PD inside the Metaplugin and use Voxengo MSED to encode the signal to midside before PD and decode it back after, so PD can show the result in Mid/Side mode. Don't forget the +/- 6db compensation.

Another thing, maybe the crossover isn't linear phase as with all their transformer emu in their previous plugin (TESSLA SE) but whatever it is it's doing, I kinda like the result.

I can't get along with the way it adds hollowness and blurring the sound, yet not found a solution to it, other than linearphase crossovers. my initial negative experience with it came from T-racks Quads.

yes they are all same in this regard.
