pure:limit effortlessly tames peaks, balances dynamics and finds the right level for your mix – all at the touch of one button.

Optimize for all genres of music including podcasts
pure:limit is the right limiter when your time, focus or workflow requires a tool that delivers straightforward results. No matter whether your mix features soulful vocals, bass- heavy samples, distorted guitars or a smooth podcast voice – pure:limit has got you covered with its selection of intelligent, genre-based profiles.

Give your mix a sonic upgrade before publishing
To make a mix sound great on all speaker systems, the correct amount of limiting is essential. With pure:limit you can put the finishing touches on your sound without getting lost in details and still rest assured that the level and dynamics of every mix are in the sweet spot before any track leaves your (home)studio.

Amplify your vibe with effective sound-shaping
Since limiting also can be used creatively, there are two very effective options in pure:limit for shaping the sound of your mix. Change how forcefully the limiter hits your signal with the Style selector: "Soft" works perfectly when you want to make your track sound natural and clean, "neutral" gives you a good balance between punchy and transparent, and "hard" intensifies your track, giving it an aggressive and dense quality. To make your sound richer and more vibrant, simply boost the value of the inflate parameter.

I’m having issues with Sonible plugins freezing Cubase after a short time in Windows 11. Both Team Cubeadooby & R2R. Firewall disabled, MS Defender removed. Cubase program network access is fully open… Any ideas fellas?

Have you disabled all internet connections?

I haven't. I'm probably in a small minority here. But my mothership stays online when I use my DAWs.

And you say you've turned the firewall off too?
Unless you have a legitimate licence for Sonible Plug ins, or you are adept at knowing what addresses to block in your hosts file, I would say that's the cause of your problem!

Yes I know. I was providing what I had because Sylenth mentioned the host file. From what I've read, Sonible needs access to addresses for its AI features to work. Am I supposed to block a certain address Sonible reaches out to or something?

I've been looking around and came up with this:-

UDP 5670 needs to be opened. I would switch the firewall back on and create a rule that opens just that port.

What firewall are you using? if you are using the standard Windows Defender Firewall.. read below:-

If you are running Windows on your machine make sure the port UDP 5670 is not blocked. Therefore open the Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security and go to Outbound Rules. If the port is blocked create a new rule for UDP port 5670 which allows connections.

I still think though, even with JUST that port open Sonible can merely block you from using it if they want to.

I installed Ableton & I'm not getting any freezing when using Sonible plugins. So I believe the issue is with Cubase & Nuendo... Not sure what I can do to fix it as I don't see anyone else reporting issues with Sonible & Cubase 13... Appreciate your help if you have anymore suggestions.

The consensus seems to be, if you create a rule allowing UDP in and out access in your firewall, Sonible plug ins will not crash Cubase 13. Or you could simply revert to Cubase 12, as this too will fix the problem.

Hi. Same here (Cubase13, Win10 pro). Others Sonible plugins work flawlessly, but this one freezes after a few tweaks and crashes Cubase...Ctrl+Alt+Del...
I didn't go deeper, deinstalled it. I won't complain, given the lucky guys we are to access all those ressources freely :) Sorry not to provide you with further help. At least you're not alone :)
