i hate it in person less than i thought from the promos, the colours are closer to 3 than it looks from the images, i also have an obs window capture thing for traktor and it all lines up the same too, so the basic dimensions of all the actual functional stuff is the same.

If the new demo is like the old one, a 30 minute time limit isnt really enough to fully test what it can do during an entire set. Not just features but if its going to have any crashes or stutters or anything like that.

yep absolutely, thats why we need this i will eventually buy if all it proves stable. At this point im just grateful theyre still developing my dj software of choice. Still the best for transport controls.

Yes, u can have parallel copies of mixed legitimacy installed, one for each full version. i still have v2 installed with my full giant library from 10 years ago (was way too slow browsing with hundreds of thousands of tracks) with all my old playlist histories i can still go back and reference alongside 3 &now 4 with just the trimmed down selected library i started fresh with on v3 release. U can even launch all versions at the same time and ext midi clock sync them together for 16 deck madness- great for if youre an insane person!

This is a step in the right direction. The step sequencer is really fun. It means you no longer need Ableton to sync to trigger some drums when you're playing live. The only thing that really takes too long is the stem creation. Serato is miles ahead, there the separation runs instantly in the engine. Perhaps the Izotope RX algorithm is also a bit too oversized here.

I´m missing the stem seperation option. Do I need a Traktor hardware controller for it?

Just have a two channel Pioneer controller.

You do not need a controller for this, as described in the NI tutorial, just right-click in the browser and the option will be displayed.
It worked for me without any problems.

As I wrote before I don´t have this option. I saw the video and I simply don´t have this option in context menu when I rightclick a track in the browser. That´s why I asked.

Found the error. It´s just visible from the preperation list. Not from tracklist or any other folder.

I have a love-hate relationship with NI.
Traktor is now also part of that.

NI these days is more about promotion than improvement.
I'll briefly address their latest promotional bait The Pattern Player.

For example, can only be used while running a track(s).
If you decide to filter a track, the pattern player sounds automatically filters with it.
This also applies to the EQ and fader positions.

There is no way to extract the kit's ( Maybe someone here will be able to do that?)
There is no way to use the kits in the player in your DAW.
It is also not possible to use your own kits or sounds in the player.
You actually have some kind of protected audio DLC in your software that you can't access.

Now you will probably be able to buy several expansions in the future, but such things leave me with a sour taste.

This one is depending on the settings. Was confused too by the loudness level.

There is an option to put it into send, insert or post fader mode. Just click the three dots at the fx number.
