About Aspect 2
Aspect is a 32 note polyphonic software instrument that combines a great-sounding, powerful synthesis engine with a flexible semi-modular architecture and unparalleled ease of use.

The core of Aspect’s superb sound are two analogue modelled oscillators, each capable of producing a powerful selection of raw waveforms, and dual filters that can be routed in series, in parallel, or even blended into unique combinations.

Primary modulation sources come in the form of three analogue modelled envelopes - capable of producing quick, snappy attacks - three precise multi-segment envelope generators, and three free running or tempo synced LFOs.

Looks really good. Only thing I don't like is no per oscillator unison. It is like Twin 3.

Everything else looks really good.

I get the efficiency argument. It allows for hundreds of installed generator plugins with very little space. Sound is paramount though, and the best way to emulate analogue gear (without physical gear) is still to utilize samples (imo). I prefer a few hefty "synths" with sample layers, fx etc to a thousand, very ITB, digital sounding emulations - but that's just me. To each his own!

Softube synth emulations dont have any effects too. When Softube do that its calling bullsheet commercial strategy cause they have tons of effect plugins, i cant tell same thing for Loomer. 20-25 years old discontinued synths have much better presets than this. (Tubeohm, Steinberg, Waldorf, Arturia, Linplug, Cakewalk, ReFX, rgc:audio, NI etc.)

lol my OB-6 has built in FX we are in 2024 kind of ridiculous to go this route seeing how every other "emulation" even arturia, synapse audio, geforce, has FX because it's digital and..... it's 2024. But of course one could just add their own external fx so whatever

I feel the whole "This is 2024" argument is not constructive... Next year you'll be saying 'This is 2025' and so on. Lots of stock synths on Ableton/Bitwig do not have any FX and yet you can make some very good patches with them. This Aspect has a nice looking interface to it, so I'm going to give it a go.
