I saw a couple of videos about stem separation and Spectralayers seems one of the best around, you can find some video comparisons between different software about this topic, on other features i honestly don't know.

I keep both around. Spectralayers is really handy for its ARA integration, but I think RX does a better job with the UI in standalone. Having separate plugins with RX is also just as useful as full ARA. For unmixing inside the DAW, Spectralayers is much better because of the ARA integration.

RX isn't at the level of what you can get with spectral layers
Even accentize or acon digital are better than RX, stem separation "ultimate vocal remover" even virtual dj is better and faster than RX

Anyone else experiencing the application closing down when you try and unmix a song (In Standalone). I tried a 4 min song and 45 second one, as soon as I press APPLY the application just exits?

Just tried it in a 3 DAW's and the plugin crashes :)

Oh and before anyone asks about my PC spec its below.

PC Specs:
Windows 10 22H2 / Dual i9 24 core (48 cores) 13900KS Processor / 96GB Vengeance DDR5 RAM 48000MHz / 4x 4TB Corsair MP600 M.2 / 24GB GeForce RTX 4090

Audio Interfaces:

So there is a post in the Steinberg forum of other people experiencing the same thing.

One of the suggestions was to change the AI Processing from CPU to GPU which I did and now it is working without crashing out. I knew that RTX 4090 in my DAW only machine would be good for something at some point :)

If anyone else if having this same issue try changing the AI processing from CPU to GPU (Edit > Preferences > System > AI Processing Device)
