Acustica Audio Cherry 2023-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 2024.06.09 | 216.9 MB
Ch3rry Equalizer is the first Acustica's mastering 4-band hyper EQ, super performing and super light on CPU, available in VST, VST3, AAX, and AU formats. It is sampled from two notorious mastering EQ devices and its magic lies in the curves and low frequencies, which are highly defined, bringing them closer to the original hardware.

The tasty Extra-Light mastering EQ
Ch3rry Equalizer is the lightest EQ ever created by Acustica, based on two sampled devices and built on the 'Hyper' engine, offering an unprecedented experience that is both ultra-lightweight and supremely powerful. Designed with speed, precision, and performance in mind, CHERRY is poised to redefine the very essence of your audio mastering.

An expression of simplicity and innovation
“Less but better. Back to purity, back to simplicity.” - Dieter Rams

The vision was clear from the start - to craft an equalizer that stood out from the crowd, not just in
terms of sound quality but also in its design and user experience. We wanted CH3RRY Equalizer to be an embodiment of simplicity and elegance, offering you an interface that is visually appealing yet incredibly intuitive to use. In our pursuit of simplicity, we faced challenges that demanded creativity and
ingenuity. We carefully curated each control, ensuring that only the most essential elements were
included, giving you the tools needed, without superfluous options.

Taste it to believe it.
The Ch3rry EQ is the epitome of transparency, providing an incredibly smooth and seamless sound.

Ch3rry's savoir-faire lies in its perfect curves, meticulously crafted with high definition in low frequencies, bringing them closer to the authentic hardware experience. Its low-end definition is second to none, granting your audio signal a new level of depth and clarity with natural warmth and presence.

Wooot! One of the ones I’ve been waiting for! Thanks R2R!!! A very sweet mastering EQ

now wait for Pensado EQ for me. haha
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

216 MB for an eq ?

Must be very much code for sound processing :)
  Member 14.08.2023 1 12
This thing is sample based.
216 MB is nothing literally (2024)

Cherry (19) - A combination of the Cello Audio Palette and Arrel Audio ML-117. Both are mastering grade/audiophile equalizers that are very transparent and precise

Or, Cherry could be the LA-117 “Studio DMI edition" Mastering EQ

wow . . . . seems nice! (waiting for my favourite . . .maybe in next week?? )

thank you so much r2r

tested in a project -cinematic 44hz- front to front with amber 3 and i preffer amber 3 (i work in 44 and not 48 because amber 3 ) . . .
But cherry is very capable for all situations, do not like saturation from pre.
Cherry seems good better for flat curves and amber3 for smile curves (like cinematic sounds)

Is this as good as the Acustica Sunglow or Lime 2?
  Resident 25.11.2023 1 74
When I was trialling this one last year I thought it was one of the best AA plugs. It’s really nice as the mastering EQ. The low end is really something. At least for my material. I’ve been waiting since last December for this one to show up here. Definitely give this one a try.

its just a fab filter with a nice UI.
  Member 6.05.2019 134
Incorrect. If you do some research on the tech behind Cherry you will understand why your guessed statement you wrote like a fact is not that.
  Resident 14.11.2011 610
tested by some yt guys with the same curves with fabfilter3 and flipped phase ,the results are; there is no sound at all from the two.then they are exactly the same.
Software is like sex,it's better when it's free!

No, they weren't "exactly the same".

You can see for yourselves here:

R2R are truly legends. This week was historic

We got the “cherry” on top we wanted I’m really hoping we will be able to turn this red cherry into a “purple” one also
  Resident 25.11.2023 1 74
+1 to that!
  Resident 27.05.2022 37 590
This is one of their best EQ's imo. I bought it. If you want a transparent EQ that keeps the transient punch in tact even with big boosts then this is the EQ for you.
You can also cut frequencies without it reducing the transient too much too. Very good!
  Member 22.01.2022 3 84
Usually, you want to use Acustica plugins because they aren’t transparent. Are there any non-linearities in this one or is it just as clean as a stock EQ?
  Member 6.05.2019 134
It retains transients far better than a stock EQ. Especially in the low end.

Thanks for the info
