These plugins developed by Igor Nembrini already. I dont like much Nembrini plugins cause even with bypassed cab sim they have too much bass and darker tones than others.

Glad to read this comment. When I try Nembrini plugin, I hear the same thing like you. I thought there is something wrong with my setup because a lot of people praise Nembrini plugin.

I try using 3rd party IR and it makes the tone worse. So I use build in IR despite never find one that sound good to my ear.

so what's your final opinion on it. Nembrini or Nembrini ? I mean the one he made for PA. lol. Also is it "angle" or "E.N.G.L" ?

I tried all Nembrini plugins under Plugin Alliance / Brainworks brands too. ENGL, ADA, Sansamp, 5150, Friedman, Mesa, Soldano etc. none of his plugins close to original amps. When i see "Nembrini" i know its another bad emulation. Good thing is you can bypass preamp/poweramp/cabinet and use them separately. Its better than Tonex's fake cabinet bypass.

would you mind sharing with us which emulation you think closest to the real amp out there. anyway, by amp do you mean just the amp section of the plugin (pre+power) or the whole plugin itself ? because you with IR these days a shitty plugin can to turn gem real quick with clever cab matching.

If you want to capture amp/fx/pedal sound with or without cab,mic etc. best software tool is Tonex or Neural Amp Modeler. Amp modeling softwares already using IR's, they capture many combinations about EQ, drive, volume etc. There is no one amp sim software gives best results for every amp. I'm 5150/6505 lover and i know how that amp's sounds hearing in real life. Tonex, TH-U Rig player, Neural Amp Modeler presets are very close to original ones but those are just captures. I'm using different cabinet IR's but STL Tones, Neural DSP,TSE, Kazrog, Amplitube, Helix, Revalver amp sections are close to 5150/6505.

Nembrini are one of my favorite plugins,and the Bass is ok with my Apollo Twin and my guitars
