I love U-he but never really gelled with zebra, maybe its interface? I'm still looking forward to 3 though & this upgrade to zebralette looks great.

i struggled for a long time with zebra as well. always went for diva , hive etc. but in recent years i got the zebra dark version or whatever its called, the hans zimmer version, and was just blown away. Spent the time getting to know it, and it swiftly replaced many of my synths. Its a workhorse of a synth, capable of a huge range of sounds. Really looking forward to version three. That, and serum 2 are two of my most looking forward to.

zebra is ancient but its more powerful than diva. just takes more understanding of the flow. I feel like zebra 3 will quickly become one of the leading synths on the market.

I think I might have overhyped this...

Either the beta presets suck, or.. this doesn't sound that revolutionary.

Like, it has some of the worst attempts at "Piano" ever. Would never use such sounds.

I was hoping Zebra3 would be amazing and make Objekt look junky. It doesn't even have resynthesis like Harmor had 15+ years ago.

It's cool but it feels like a Serum competitor rather than a real revolutionary thing. Serum is like 10 years old too.

It's cool that its free, and certainly is useful (but its CPU usage is bad), but it makes me wonder if Zebra3 is going to live up.

People clearly don't understand why this thing is eating cpu for breakfast. It is absolutely insane how much control you have to edit, manipulate and modulate the waves and all in real-time oscillation. I never heard a digital oscillator making sounds like this thing before, it is madness! I have no idea what all these oscillator fx modes are doing, some maths wizardy i guess. This is cleary not for those preset people above that expect a catchy "piano" sound lol.
