same problem with the previous version. The authorization wont stick, plugin will back to demo after few launches. I've found simple temporary solution :

After the plugin authorized, set the file "product.dat" at %APPDATA%\Roaming\UrsaDsp\Boost to Read-Only. Not sure how long will it last for this version but the license not getting automatically removed on launch. Check the settings (Burger menu) and click License to see that the license is still there.

you have to use it in order get back in demo ? Because i have installed ver 1.5.09 without using it and after i saw your post i opened it and its still registered after some months . Its the TCD version though . Try it also .

TCD version didnt get deauthorized by itself only the R2R and yeah it happens in stages. 1st launch all good, 2nd it will remove license on the background, but plugin works fine, 3rd you'll get demo warning. Having the license on Read-Only works for the previous version and prevented the license auto removal. It should on this one I guess, hopefully. So far it works great.

oh i see . if it happens again use the TCD version . Maybe they will post the new version . Its 1.5.9 beta last TCD Version . Cant find the change log but the changes must be minor between this versions .

That's interesting SD. I experienced similar license behavior as you described with the waves alchemy releases from R2R. I'm curious if this license locking trick would work for that. Unfortunately its been tripped on my system and maybe a clean install would be required to know for sure... But thanks for idea anyways, it could prove useful.

I'm sticking to R2R Version v1.5.5 from 2021.10.24. Rocksolid and does not have this authorization bug

Tbh i don't see any advantage v1.5.11 has over v1.5.5

Uninstalled and went back to UrsaDSP Boost v1.5.9 Beta-TeamCubeadooby.
The last R2R version didn't work for me either. Oh well.

Working fine here with Stevie Dude's suggestion to put that file on 'read only'. Have re-booted computer a couple of times, and re-started S1 and then Ursa several times... All Good so far! Will post again if there's any change.

Very helpful tip. I meant to say thank you earlier. I love this unique dynamics processor and your trick makes using the latest versions so much easier.

I usually use this thing as a microscope, but it's also great at more normal limiter tasks. You can get extreme with the settings because it almost never breaks up and distorts, as long as your attack/release settings are sensible. Also sounds fantastic on small, quiet or granular sounds with a bit of texture. Suddenly those sounds are at eye level and have way more mass and solidity. Lots of fun and easy to use
