Is this as good as the 1970s Acustica audio Lime 2 Neve emulation any one compared this?

I don't know the Acustica version but this one is excellent, I really like it, so much so that I put it on all my tracks. I don't necessarily activate the preamp, comp or EQ but I use it for the "analog flavor" function.

Hey Guys, I was really expecting Lindell to have nailed the Neve sound, but the plugins sound quite different to neve hardware (not surprised tbh)... I wonder how close Voosteq have got... Maybe this guy could do another shootout with the Voosteq plugin, also drum bus have done a shootout with the Voosteq, sharing for information...

If you didn't already know this has been getting absolutely top reviews from the folks on gearspace (FWIW). I also think it's a great plugin especially for the low amount of money it is going for at the moment in the sale (about 20 bucks or so).

It's got a lot of features and the interface is not just a pretty face, it's actually very usable for the most part for most things. It's not the deepest plugin in the world but I'm still learning and discovering new things with it. It still takes a bit of time to get the best out of it. Its magic is quite subtle and I don't know if it really is like a Neve or not but I like what it does.

It can be both subtle and a lot more obvious, but you all have a chance to test it out thanks to R2R (there's also a demo on the website of the dev iirc). The sale has been going on a long time and the dev said it would end xmas time but it's still going. If you have the money I'd grab it while you can because you'd kick yourself if it goes up to the 100 bucks or so it's supposed to cost at full price. Dev is Japanese as well iirc. Very clever stuff.

It really does make you wonder when you can get plugins like this for 20 bucks why some devs charge 200 bucks for comparable plugins. Anyway, I bought this one and the Material Comp from the same dev in the ongoing sale. I'd say get both if you can afford it, they both cover a lot of ground between them.
