Seems like this happens to me all the time as well but when it comes to NI stuff I stick exclusivley to R2R since V.R.'s FM8 fucked up everything I had installed from NI (which was like everything but FM8 probably) by tempering with the NativeAcess.xml in the service center folder, registry entries and some other stuff causing everything to switch to demomode even the plugin I tried to install from him didn't work the only thing it did for me was fuck up my whole NI install and there was no fixing it either not without a backup which I couldn't make back then not having enough space to keep even one copy of everything I wanted to on the system... I think it's nice that NI even still does updates for the old Massive when they have a new version already.

Can someone tell me what that means? I can't install it. I've done everything right so far and have uninstalled everything beforehand and then installed it from r2r. Then I can't get any further?

Massive is outdated software, they created Massive X to replace it, but Massive X was dead born project from the start.

So either use MX or stay with Massive in its current form, which wont change or be upgraded.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

It's a shame, Massive is very versatile, MX doesn't convince me, it's a poor project, I don't even feel like it's an evolution of Massive, but using Massive at 3440 resolution is a crime. I have sylenth1, serum, vital, avenger2. They are top-notch plugins, I also have Falcon, well and many more, and those are worth spending my money on, but Massive is not worth it. NI makes good products but never finishes them well at all. For me that is laughing at the users. I hope that in the future they have to sell the company and it is bought by someone who wants to do things well.

For those with keygen problems:
(File Access error. Your system is dirty)

Go to this address
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\Native Access
Uncheck the Native Access folder as read-only. If anyone gets an error after the keygen, this problem will be fixed.

Note : Instead of clicking to navigate to the folder, try opening File Explorer and pasting this

This is the solution I found in a forum while searching the internet. I tried it and it worked for me.

It's a pain and a struggle I'd rather stay with the old Massive no matter what I do it doesn't work but thanks for the tips and help

Does anyone have a solution for the following problem:

Running Keygen, receiving error message "Cannot find required file."

Steps taken to get to this point:

On Windows machine
Mounted "Massive 1.6.0 Setup PC.iso"
Ran "Massive Setup PC.exe"
Installed with default options to default directory on C:
Installation successful
Copied R2R's 3 February 2024 NativeAccess.xml to Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center
Backed up old pre-existing xml just for insurance
Ran Keygen and got the error message stated above

I have done a similar thing, except I do not have a "Service Center" folder. I even tried creating it after the fact and placing NativeAccess.xml inside it.

The KeyGen had the same error as you up until I realized the Windows Defender was the cause of it. After turning off real-time protection, KeyGen finally launched and selecting Massive v1.5.8+ said "Successfully registered." on the keygen.
However, running the standalone, I still got the same prompt to activate the product and got the error "Native Access" not found.
From what I've gathered, Service Center is no longer a thing and now there should be a folder called "Native Access" or something, but installing Massive doesn't provide it so I'm stuck.

In case anyone else runs into this error, I was able to circumvent it by using an R2R keygen from another Native Instruments crack.

Praying this one works. Linux isn't very audio-friendly and this is the one plugin that no crack has worked for on Linux.

It didn't but thankfully R2R's 1.5.5 crack did. I finally get that 2009 goodness seeping from Massive yet again. Haven't been able to use it in months!

For those having problem with Keygen "is dirty" error.

Finally figured this out.

If you are on Win11, your folders as shown in the path in the error message, doesnt exist.
So i tried to create the folders, but got a message that they actually existed even though i didnt see them.

Even with "show hidden files" activated.

No idea why, but here is what i did.

I just entered the path manually and voila.

Now inside the "access" folder, delete all files, and patch again, and it worked.
