no vst3, no AAX and no resizable GUIs - they look tiny, some out right unusable. And they have the nerve to ask 60, 80, 120 euros/plugin, while won't even bother to update them to 21 century standards.

Are these actually still getting updated for real, or do they just slap a new version number on the same old code? I thought that the Sonalksis plugins are still available only because the asshole owner just wants to make money off the hard work of his former employees (who has since started companies like Sonible and DMG Audio).

I don't even expect updated code, but at least upgrade the GUI and make it VST3 so we can use them properly on today's systems. It seems that's too much effort for them too ...

With these 2002 download speeds, they're perfect size. Even in those times these plugins were on the "ok" side of things, but not "wow" . They do have a certain "mojo" for creative mixing. I would say they are on par with some DAW bundled plugins these days (perhaps like Focusrite plugins, older Waves) and some of their plugins are a notch above.

Well the plugins I saw most often used were Creative Filter, uber compressor, FreeG and Stereo Tools. imo there are better alternatives around these days but these plugins are nice to have anyway.

I bought these around 2010, but stopped using them because I had to put on reading glasses to see anything. I still use the FreeG on every project. That one is indispensable.

I remember in an old KVR thread where a member of DMG Audio (created by a former Sonalksis dev) stated that modern Sonalksis is basically a Warez seller at this point since they no longer give a single penny to the original DSP creators and graphic designers, contrary to the legal agreements.

yeah... a shame actually. i'm slowly trying to switch everything to vst3 entirely - so they're not for me.
