I read this comment over and over again. Read the post over and over again. Went away. Came back. Still couldn't see it. I assume that it's because I believed the post began *after* the title. I found it eventually, but it took me ages.

If you'd said 'look at the category' rather than 'look at the section' I might not have been so confused.

I believe they have their own basic sequencing host but they do come as VSTPlugins so can be loaded into any DAW.

The about window does say Gadget 3, even though I can only find Gadget 2 on Korg's website!

It doesn't work for me. I uninstalled version 2 which worked fine and installed this. Then I run RET's keygen and it said "REGISTERED!". But when I open the vst's it says needs registration through korg pass. What am I doing wrong? I was unable to find instructions on how to activate them. (Win 10, Ableton 11, internet offline). Appreciate any help

Thanks for the answer, unfortunately it doesn't work. During my search in previous releases, I have found that RET's keygen doesn't work for other people too. It seems to be an issue in some OS configuration, so I must be one of them. Ah well

Did you make sure to disable your network card? That includes wireless and wired. I have to disable both, and shut my firewall down to make this register. After which you can re-enable, and they all should work ok. But for sure, you have to disable all internet networks, as if they don't exist, and can't be accessed at all. I was unable to register by just being offline alone.

For me, it's Windows, and: Open network and sharing center. Then Change Adapter Settings. Then right click disable Ethernet, and the right click disable Wi-Fi. (then shut your firewall off temporarily). Hopefully that helps.

Thanks for your reply. I have already done all these steps but after your comment decided to do them again. It still doesn't work. I returned to the previous 2.7 version of RET that works fine. I hope someday R2R decide to incude Gadget to their keygen so I can do a proper authorization via their Korg pass

The good news is that the SantaAna files are there but in the wrong place.
Go here:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\KORG\Gadget\factory samples\SantaAna
Create a folder called GuitarPCM
Move the 3 files into it

These sound much better than the rest of big korg synth plugins, too bad they don't have a lot of presets.
