Water3 is based on a series of vintage Austrian hardware from the 60s, hand-built around germanium transistor topology and plenty of audio transformers improved with our Hyper 2 technology.

Water's limiter/compressor is based on a discrete diode bridge design that delivers an awe-inspiring sound. With 3 of the best transformers in the audio realm, it offers a smooth, larger-than-life coloration that is reminiscent of classic legendary tube devices. Originally manufactured in the late 1960s, this hardware is a pretty rare find these days.

Purify Your Sound
Water EQ was sampled from a passive stereo germanium equalizer dating back to 1961, plus a set of β€œhomebrewed” hardware circuits that were hand-built using original components. We took care to maintain the unique benefits of the original hardware while making the plugin more flexible, thereby a more useful tool for the demands of modern producers.

I'd be so excited right now if only all of these AA plug-ins haven't sucked for eternity (both in sound and usage).

Still, massive kudos to R2R for unveiling the scam of AA to the masses.

+1. I was off the hype train as soon a it started. The Acustica releases are really only a moral and release for pettiness (in a good way) and nothing else. It never was really about "team cracks hype app people wanted" like their other big hits. Acustica simply serves as a reminder and nothing else. The plugins themselves are much of nothing.

You're not the first person I've heard say this. I'm always impressed when R2R tackles something difficult - especially so when they make improvements! - even more so when they engage in conversation with the dev!! Do you know if ANY of the AA stuff is worth demo'ing?

At least they speak about the sound of the plugin, not about other users attacking them personally, so please avoid to do this.

Every opinion is welcome here, positive or negative, specially if well argued.
Without arguments, saying that a plugin is great is as useless as saying that it sucks.

By the way, I've been trying Acustica Audio for two months now, and out of all the plugins, I'll probably use two or three plugins. Believe me, there are far, far better plugins than Acustica. Again, it's all a matter of taste, what one likes. Definitely not for me, and I have been working professionally for 30 years

Dont manipulate things.
Some people say that they dont like these plugins. It does not mean that they dont respect R2R.
Here every opinion, positive or negative about the material shared is welcome, specially if well argued.
That will never mean that cracker's work is not appreciated, obviously, because most of the time we could not have an opinion if these plugins were not cracked in the first place.
