DDMF Metaplugin v. 4.3.1 x64 MOCHA screenshot
AudioZ Exclusive | VST3 / VST2 | 7.65 MB
Metaplugin is a plugin that loads other plugins. As simple as that. Build your own effect networks with this plugin wrapper using any VST/VST3 (and AU, if you’re on Mac) effect you already have on your harddisk. To get you started, a Mid-Side matrix, a fourband crossover filter and a routing plugin are included in the package. This means instant cross-track routing, mid-side, multiband compression/distortion/reverb/… you name it.

Of course that’s only the beginning… let your imagination run free, nothing is impossible, from creating your own layered synth sounds to building whole sound generators from scratch using simple modules.

Another favourite use case for Metaplugin is to load VST plugins in Pro Tools (or to load AudioUnits in Pro Tools if you’re on a Mac). Hence, you can use it as a VST to AAX wrapper or an AU to AAX wrapper. While we’re at it: you can also use Metaplugin to load VST plugins in Logic/LogicX (VST to AU wrapper), or AU plugins in Cubase (AU to VST wrapper).

Effect version supports up to eight individual channels for, e.g. surround or other multichannel purposes.
Instrument version featuring 16 stereo output buses for all conceivable routing purposes using multichannel instruments
Double precision audio processing when supported by DAW and plugin format (not for Audio Units)
Additional stereo sidechain input
Convenient plugin organizer: scan your plugins once, then just drag and drop them onto the graph area
Internal bridge from 32 to 64 bit, with seamless plugin window integration: load 32 bit plugins in ProTools or LogicPro X without the need for a 3rd party bridging solution

NEW since v3.4: internal bridge from 64 bit to 32 bit too!
Support for native Apple Audio Unit plugins
Dry/wet ratio can be adjusted for each loaded plugin.
Individual bypass for each loaded plugin
Full plugin delay compensation included.
Automate up to 100 parameters by mapping them on any parameter of a loaded plugin
Negligible additional CPU overhead.
Synths can also be loaded and played with any MIDI control, which means you can create custom synthesizers with existing building blocks.
Up to 8x oversampling option of the whole signal chain is available.
Included: mid-side matrix, multiband splitter and cross track send/receive helper plugins.
Define your own colour palette for the plugin: check!
Freely resizable plugin window for maximum convenience: check!
Can be used as a VST (2 or 3) to AU wrapper, a VST (2 or 3) to AAX wrapper or an AU to AAX wrapper.

Honestly, we can’t think of any reason not to own this baby! Available for Windows (32/64 bit VST/VST3 and AAX) and Mac OSX (32/64 bit VST/VST3/AU/AAX, 10.7 or higher needed). As always, we strongly recommend to check out the demo version (settings not saved, but further fully functional) to see whether it fits your needs!

Been waiting for this one to be updated from the last R2R release but alas! from the nfo:
Possible crash when you close the DAW. it happen on legit version too.

Looks like gonna be waiting more.

what's it get more than Kushview Element (it's free)?

Doesn't crash Cubase here when closing but doesn't remember the plugins' window positions either. This issue has been in legit versions since v4.0. Unusable so I will just continue using R2R's v3.6.2. Maybe on other DAWs it remembers the window placement...

This version could still be useful as the scan may or may not work on v3.6.2. If not, then just use this version for scanning, the scan results will appear on v3.6.2.

Thx Mocha!, seems very useful for vsti/fx chains, but i'm looking for the best choice to use some like this as standalone, not into a daw, as for live performances. Wich d'ya feel is the best standalone plugins loader?

Live performances? You wouldn't believe what you can do with Reaper. I know I didn't until I tried and researched some of its great, simple sequencing JS MIDI plugins. Sequencer Baby is great + LibreArp - more than just Arp. You can have everything sequenced on an octave and the rest free for playing along. Reaper is also just sooo stable.

Yes, it is, I usually build my chains there, but i'm tryin' just vst loaders 'cause their graphical advantages too (Gig Performed realeased over here seems great for now), my display for live performances must remain in around 12". I like too much this Mocha's release too, now i'm tryin' to find the cause of the crash at exit.

Come on MOCHA... I know this whole Windows thing is probably not your favorite... but leaving your "_uninstaller" folder directly under "Program Files" is not cool.

MOCHA: _uninstaller folder under "Program Files" will help you to find the uninstaller file easily.
if you think that is not cool, just hide it, so it will not damage your eyes.
if still not enough or your eyes still damaged because this, just remove the _uninstalller folder, you can still use the programs/plugins normally.

Reason "_uninstalller" folder under "Program Files" :
1. keep your computer clean from scattered uninstallers.
2. easier to reach the uninstaller file.

How can it improve the workflow over fx chains in Ableton on Windows pc? I suppose it could be helpful when using a few different DAWs.

Can be this considered as an alternative to FL Patcher?

this is a great super useful type of plugin! some great free alternatives i recommend are: kushview's "element" vst, and or image line's free "minihost" vst.. sadly the latter one is no longer being worked on (i think it became 'pather' inside flstudio) but it still works great. for me anyway
