Just as a note, I had Valhalla.DSP.Valhalla.VintageVerb.v3.0.0.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R installed, and assumed I could install over top. It installed without any error.. when I opened Reaper, all that was there was one VST2 and one VST3.. when I opened each, they showed as 3.0.0.

If I had to guess, I think at some point I also had V.R's Valhalla bundle (or some other groups) and the folder it installed to was "ValhallaDSP" vs. "Valhalla DSP" for R2R (space between). I think that caused some weirdness.

Anyways, deleting the VST2 and VST3 and reinstalling got 4.0.0 to show now and looks like everything works fine (including old 3.0.0 projects, for anyone wondering.. they load fine with the 4.0.0 version automatically).

Is this the same one from the bundle by VR?

I didn't grab that bundle, but it should be, they are both version 4.0.0

So small in size, yet so SUPERB sounding algorithms.
This showcases the true class of the Valhalla coders!

Valhalla is using their own GUI and other stuff, usually stuff like JUCE make the plugins big.

The DSP code itself is very small compared to the plugin enviroment.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

i believe JUCE lists them in companies that use it. i'm curious in what capacity if that is true

Valhalla is using JUCE for UI and everything else. A simple string search can reveal this

new added MODE :

1) Hall 1984 - inspired by Lexicon Model 200
2) Chamber 1979 - Inspired by Lexicon 224
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

cool verb, and worth buy it if we use it, but start to get to many algo (21), start to be lost or go slower for mix. still on my old lex PCM 7 algo it's enough and still sound better than a lot of reverb

Not only some of the best reverbs out there, but extremely well priced with lots of free updates. Definitely a developer I want to support.

I've seen a few people mention they feel there's too many algorithms now, but you can always just stay with the ones you know. I really like the extra options as it's easy to take an existing preset you like and try a few different algorithms for a fresh variation.

yes but algo with very small nuance for some, in a full mix it's will not get a big change.
Where for example a xenoverb, get differents algo , but each are very different, classic room plate hall, and you get shimmer and more. So don't waste time in nano details but get directly something you need, in mix session it's important too.
After it's taste, and don't like some reverb when others like , but i like when the dev proposes his idea of sound too

Yes, a great developer that doesn't use stupid download managers, subscriptions, and ilok shit. Nice and efficiently made plugins.

I do use only Valhalla as classic send fx for my analog synth. One of the best brand in the pro audio software world, optimised code and best results, they deserve to be supported.

A mixing engineer told me that valhalla Vintage verb sounds much more resonant.
