Yes. You may have to run the installer first and then move your folders manually.

I simply answered his question. You did not. The Info files don't always extract, sometimes people overlook them, sometimes people aren't even sure what they're doing and other times the instructions aren't necessarily understood.

All you did was partially quote some text and you quoted the part that wasn't useful to the person initially asking the question.

Sometimes I miss things in the downloads or it reads like gibberish to me other times. I come here and ask questions when that happens.

Other times I offer help based on things I've managed to figure out myself.

I urged him to READ. What's wrong w that?
He asked if the VR release here is compatible w the R2R collection release.
The notes visible to all clearly state it can be used w other third party Arturia, and to make it perfectly clear, they even mention R2R specifically! LOL, cmon. You make excuses for someone too entitled or lazy to read info about what interests them in plain sight not web search.

V.R. sound banks working here Win 10.
I installed R2R on a system that never had Arturia.
Some of the synths had presets and some did not.
I then installed the V.R. sound banks thinking it would fix it and it was the same. (some had presets and some did not)
Google search and this fixed everything:
1 Go to this file Location C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets
2 Find the file named "db.db3" and delete.
3 Start DAW as admin and load a synth. (Takes extra second)

This fixed all my presets and yes V.R. sound banks are working with R2R
Just in case somebody had same problem.

VR's sound bank works well with the r2r version. If there are any problems, please solve them in the comments above.
Thank you to VR for this amazing release, I think they are doing a great job.

I truly don't understand how the sound banks take up more space than the actual instruments. I know there's a way of extracting just the presets (usually between 60-90kb) because I have a folder from last year with all of them and it's only 1.5gb.

Samples.
The install shows you the sizes.
On my hard drive under C:ProgramData\Arturia\Samples Pigments takes up 7GB and Mellotron takes up almost 4 just under user samples.
If you are tight on space you can reduce the install size drastically by picking presets that don't use samples.

Possibly w/something like 7zip. That’s what I used to do when I was on Mac and wanted VR sound banks for my Mac. I would just put files/folders in the proper place…
