I just installed VST3 lately for everything which has been released so far.

I think you have to check them one by one. I've installed Amber, Fire the Pump, Magic Flow, and Space Control. I found the ACQUA.engine file inside Amber and Fire the pump vst3 folders but not in Magic Flow and Space Control.

R2R release of Magic Flow and Space Control only comes with AAX and VST3. no VST2

If we want to install VST2, should we copy the files contained in the COMMON folder back into the VST2 directory?
It would take up too much space with duplicate files.

i believe they mean all of them , i wonder if we could cut the folder in vst3, paste it in vst 2 , and put the dll there, then delete the vst3 folders from there ? would do the trick

many devs use the wrapper technique for vst3, AU, aax etc. i would not worry about it. it may reduce performance, by a very very minimal amount. if vst3 is working for you, just roll with it.

the EQ section is both algo and convolution, you can see from the list.

the VST3 wrapper is useful for Cubase user to set up external side-chain. If you use Cubase, go for VST3.

if you mean the wrapper:
-Cubase external side-chain only work with VST3.

If you mean the oversampling:
- 48/88 vectors are not included in this releases of old Acqua plugins. R2R crack is perfect, not a single hiccup since day one. The dev didnt include those file in the trial version and user will only get it once they purchase the full version. So when anyone Demo an Acustica plugin by getting a trial version (for old Acqua plugin), this is what anyone will get. It wont run perfectly at 48kHz. You need to use 44 or 96kHz project sample rate. Funny that not many aware of this, even legit users including me few years ago. I just found out. lol.

I believe this matter is being sorted out right now as few of the community members are kind enough to contribute and R2R already aware of this matter. We'll get the fully working in all sample rate version soon hopefully. So for now, the oversampling is a workaround to get the correct sound from the plugin when running at 48kHz project sample rate.

Yes, I hope so! Thank you for clarifying the situation. P.S. And, plugins with the ZL (low latency) prefix will not work correctly at higher frequencies, at least this was the case with those releases that came out earlier.

wow. 600mb and its obsolete. with the amount of CPU it uses, you should just use different eq. I dont hear any "analog" magic. your stock EQ plugin will outperform Jet easily

The Jet suite includes:

Jet: A FREE player/plugin designed primarily for bus purposes.
Jet Mix: A FREE player/plugin designed primarily for mix purposes.

Jet and Jet Mix include three different EQ models for the dynamic EQ section.

1 sampled EQ: a set of selected LF and HF band frequencies derived from our renowned Eminence Acqua plugin.
Frequencies:
- LF: 20Hz, 40Hz, 80Hz, 160Hz.
- HF: 7kHz, 10kHz, 15kHz, 20kHz.
2 algorithmic EQs with a set of selected LF and HF band frequencies called Digital Shelf and Digital Shelf HQ 2X.
Frequencies:
- LF: 20 Hz, 28 Hz, 40 Hz, 60 Hz, 80 Hz, 120 Hz, 170 Hz, 240 Hz, 350 Hz, 490 Hz, 700Hz.

1) it's a Free Dynamic Equalizer plugin, 2 actually in the bundle that was advertised as "Dynamic Equalizer Player", which basically means they can "play" sampled curves
2) the JET has Static EQ section which by default includes 2 Digital HQ EQ and 2 analog sampled EQ.
3) if the user like this plugin and prefer analog sampled filter or digital IIR filter, they can purchase additional add ons
4) it doesnt even have preamp section and the only distortion it produces is typical digital compressor/dynamic EQ artifact but it's below -100db even at full max extreme compression and expansion.
5) the R2R crack actually add all the purchasable Sampled EQ for the plugin to "play". The plugin perform basically the same.

so my question

a) do you know what this plugin does ? seem like you don't with everything you said above
b) if yes, how do you understand it ?
c) which part of it suppose to be "analog magic" that you said it didn't deliver ?

i was trying vst2 on amber on win11 nuendo 13, and more resources for vst2, and vst3 works much better.
This is a chaos ha ha ha . . . make your system work and you like that sound . . . and forgot all comments of others . . . because the same plugin in different freqs, specs, etc . . . will sound fantastic or horrible . . .

r2r is the way . . .

for both JET & JETMIX all Algorithmic and LST EQ seems to not be responding at all, only all the Sampled ones.

in JETMIX you cant see it, but the EQ should respond together with big center knob, when algo or lst selected, no EQ happening, only dynamic. Reaper user can use the Delta function on FX window to hear it.
