COS PRO HYPER-EQ: Incredible EQ Power!
Ceilings Of Sound Pro is our first Hyper-EQ and a truly unique equalizer, designed to streamline your editing and capture detail & presence in your mix. It is also the first equalizer to incorporate the spectrum of noise as equalization "knobs".

* 15 user-definable "ceiling" bands containing 49 noise-slopes each allow you to create sonic-ceiling shapes that drive the settings of a 50/31-band graphic equalizer. The EQ operates at 0 latency, low CPU load yet are hi-precision, even at low frequencies where it really matters.

* A "conform spectrum to ceiling" feature conforms the EQ to your ceiling shape with the click of a button.

* 49 ceiling guides help you balance your ceiling shapes to equalize faster and better than ever. This means whether you're working with one of our hundreds of presets, one of your own created presets or simple manipulating the ceiling shape of your raw audio during mix-down/mastering, perfect equalization is a "click" away.

We are certain that once you begin using Ceilings Of Sound Pro you'll quickly discover why it's called a Hyper-EQ.

Ceilings Of Sound Pro is optimized for multiple instances during projects with large track-counts and its controls are intuitive, allowing you to quickly adjust crossover & slope parameters or type in values.

A witch says,

* No iLok Driver installation is required to run.

* Our release loads faster and uses less memory than legit version.

Cool idea, but only 50 frequencies ? I would have need 1/12 octave or 1/24 octave EQ at least. What is the sound quality of this equalizer ? linear phase or IIR ? I never heard about AYAIC. I'm a bit sceptic...

how I used this (although briefly) was to like check my drumloop eq curve against their premade one to see if it was in the same ball park, kinda like how I use tonal balance or sonible true balance. it has a ton of premade eq curves, I don't use it anymore but I can see where that might come in handy in shitty monitoring environments. dunno about it's sound quality though I never really used it as intended I guess

"...the first equalizer to incorporate the spectrum of noise as equalization "knobs"?
WTF does that mean?
They may be the first to make up some stupid terms for their method, and maybe their method is different, but if it can't be explained using normal terminology, and worse, if terms are hijacked and then corrupted in attempt to market the thing, it's probably BS.
Maybe it is a good tool, but the marketing reeks.

Hmm idk, when this plugin came out I remember that it was in fact a very unique approach to equalization. I don't remember seen any other Equalizer like this one back then. And I think the way they say it " first equalizer to incorporate the spectrum of noise as equalization "knobs" its pretty easy to understand, self-explanatory I would say.

OK i know what the spectrum means in audio. I know what "noise" is in most uses in audio, such as : unwanted audio, or white or pink noise, useful in synthesis... In what way are they using the word "noise"? They seem to be using it to mean all the audio in the complete spectrum and they are incorporating that spectrum of noise as 'knobs'.

It doesn't seem self-explanatory to me.
I'll read more about it, but it seems a bunch of word chicken salad

If that had been "self-explanatory" then there would not be any need to explain what kind of noise, where does this noise coming from in a harmonically pure signal, does those "knobs" work on the noise (even none existent) or on useful information, how those "knobs" are formed (randomly? spikes? etc) and so on.
Nothing in this jibberish is self-explanatory, its just a bunch of fancy words that makes no sense.

Not so unique. Only if you don't know about Voxengo CurvEQ FIR EQ.

This looks like half as powerful as CurvEQ. So not new, not unique, and honestly I miss many features from CurvEQ. On the positive side, if you like it, FIR EQ should sound more transparent than IIR, so it should be good for EQing buses and whole mixes. Depends on the quality of DSP. I trust Voxengo plugins far more as Aleksey is a DSP genius, but you never know... it's got "PRO" in the name.

Voxengo plugins sound very generic. ABX blind tested many times.
They unfamous for make transients smearing.

Ayaic DSP quality is very high.
"PRO" is for separation only. They have few versions of this plugin. Educational, entry and PRO i think. So nothing corny over here.
