iZotope always does it like this, they also did such mistakes in the past.

Example from their old installers:
VST2, VST3, AAX are always just small "loaders" that load the actual iZ plugin dll.
That core dll is always the same file for VST2, VST3 & AAX but instead of adding it once
to the installer and copy it to the places where it belongs, they add it for every
product 3 times.

Result: The installer has 3 times the size it should have


Example for their new installers:
The main installer contains 14 sub installers. Every sub installer installs each plugin as a separate product into a separate folder. Every product folder contains the identical
226MB "iZNectar4Core.dll", which btw. always contains the code for every module.

Since the path to the iZNectar4Core is defined in the registry, all the product files
could go into a single folder, which would place iZNectar4Core just once and save
you 3164MB of space -> thats what R2R did.

Result: The installer is still huge (640MB vs. 164MB when done right) but now also
wastes an extreme ammount of disk space after installing.

It seems like iZotope does the opposite of learning from mistakes.

I love when a cracking group figures out how to run a program without the bloat. It much reminds me of the gaming ISO groups back in the day when they would compress a 4gb game into 475mb...and then use a special decrypter to unzip the files in batches. There was never a need to make a user download such big files in the early 2000s. R2R is GODLIKE!!

When trying to load in DAW it says that files are missing and should reinstall Nectar. Nectar runs, but crashes.

isn't it as it is required to install the "Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime" as it is written in the included txt file? The reason of missing files/malfunctioning, I mean..
In windows 11 the library "MicrosoftEdgeWebView2RuntimeInstallerX64.exe", setup fails as it is already included in it: I installed the software, opened it in my DAW using VST3 dll and it works.. up to now.. I'll post here if i experience some error..

Appears to work fine for me, but for some reason is not sending audio correctly on both channels in stereo track. I load Nectar 3 and all is as expected. Nectar 4 is sending left only. Not sure what's going on with it.
