woah, the IR import actually convert the IR to a setting in Pro-R2.

not perfect, but kinda close and then you can save it as regular Pro-R2 preset. It recreates the character of any reverb you like and in return you get all the tweakablity offered. Really cool idea.

Pro-R 2 is a 100% algorithmic reverb, but offers the unique possibility of interpreting recorded impulse response files of actual spaces and halls and converting them to settings that will match the characteristics of the particular space.

Of course, the results will never match perfectly, but will certainly be 'ballpark' and, after some optional tweaking, offer you a great and fully customizable substitute for an IR reverb.

With this installer is it possible to install just the plugins needed or is it all or nothing?

It's all or nothing, but it's really simple to delete the plugins you don't need,

just delete the VST / VST3 files and the presets from the Documents folder.

All or nothing but it's a really small bundle installed so don't worry and I suggest to try a tool you don't use and play with presets... that's how I started to use Volcano for the character of filters and Timeless for the amazing sounding modulations you can get from it.

Just did a quick unistall and install... all the licenses and presets are there just needed to activate the new R-2....everything working AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that antivirus comes up with false positives all the time, usually something generic that we can ignore, but this one got flagged with something very specific - kriptic.avae. Anyone else get this? Not a lot on it but it what I read did make it sound like something to be concerned about.

Comodo Internet Security. It flagged that one by name, didn't give it the generic malware one that we all ignore.

Anyone else have the problem to open the keygen?
The keygen from v2023.06.29 works fine but not the v2023.10.31 one.
The .exe just closes itself without any action.
Any suggestions?

FabFilter Pro-R 2.01 update released

Just one day after the Pro-R 2 release, we are releasing a 2.01 update to fix a crash when selecting a presets on mono tracks.

If you installed version 2.00 already, please download and install version 2.01 to make sure you won't encounter this crash.

You can verify the version number that's currently installed by clicking Help > About in the Pro-R 2 interface.

Windows Defender says this contains PUA:Win32/Vigua.A and PUA.Win32:Puwaders.C!ml, and running the keygen through Virus Total gets over 40 hits for malware. I know false positives are common, but this seems like quite a lot of them.

I don't know if I want to risk it :/.

I've been using it for a while, no incoming or outgoing connections,

no strange files extracted, nor anything else suspicious.

Looks like a false positive, but hey to each his own.

Use a serious AV and learn about Heuristic detection. Defender and virus total literally creates new names for his heuristic detection...
You need to learn what is Heuristic detection. Here is a long explanation, but in short Heuristic detection is based on potential behavior, instead of known behavior.

Or simply dont download.

What AV would you recommend to work peacefully with Warez? .. I use Avira and sometimes it is annoying.
