Substance is a virtual analog synthesizer emphasizing simplicity, flexibility, and sound quality.

The key factors in the design of Substance were that it should sound great, without effects, and that it should all fit on one page.

Substance has two of everything: two oscillator sections, two LFOs, two envelopes, two filters. The oscillator sections were inspired by the architecture of classic analog polysynths, which used multiple oscillators to achieve polyphony, but allowed the oscillators to be combined for a monophonic Unison mode.

The oscillators would generally be slightly out of tune with one another, resulting in a rich, chorused sound. Each of Substance's oscillators likewise comprises seven unison voices, with the amount of detuning, and the stereo breadth being adressed by a single parameter, Spread.
The LFOs can be used to modulate almost every parameter of the synth. They can be used to trigger the envelopes, to modulate the frequency and pulse-width of the oscillators, the cutoff frequency of the filters, and the volume of the amplifier.

LFO-1 can be switched between free-running, tempo-synced, and key-synced modes. A manual is included in the download link, detailing all of the other features.

It should be added to the title that this only comes in 32-bit/x86.
As far as I can tell, it's also been long abandoned, which isn't a big deal except that that means there probably isn't ever going to be a 64-bit version. I tried it out in NanoHost and despite it not having a master volume out, it sounds good and is kinda nifty, tho it's pretty damn tiny (even on my monitor... which is a television,) so tiny that you might be tempted to hit the "zoom" option, but that just magnifies your entire screen, instead of solely resizing the plugin, something which I've never seen before. Short of using a wrapper with a volume out, or inside a DAW that still accepts 32-bit plugins, it's probably not going to be much use to anyone.

Hello eXACT, because of the 32 bit - please always read everything thoroughly, because I wrote extra: Windows | Date: 2023.10.19 | 32 Bit | Size: 2,7 MB - Free

This version: Image Line - FL Studio v11.1.1 from 2018, is also available as 32 bit version and it works also on 64 bit systems. With this version you can play all 32 bit plugins and the Tactile Sounds - TS-Substance is big enough to play.

I saw that in the tagline, I was pointing out that it should be displayed prominently in the title, as being 32-bit is usually a deal-breaker in 2023.
As for DAW hosting, most people aren't going to role back to a long-outdated DAW, especially a specific one that they may not even use a modern version of. If people are interested in using it in their DAW, the best solutions are a bridge/wrapper, like JBridge, Bridgewise, or MetaPlugin.
I don't know what "big enough to play" means, but it's a tiny-ass plugin, no two ways about it, and the zoom feature shouldn't be altering your Windows settings, simple as that.
(To clarify, it the zoom feature adjusts your internal windows resolution from 1920x1080 to 1366x768 to accommodate the plugin.)

My experience is as follows: My screen is 3835 x 2068 pixels (4K monitor).
The graphical interface of the TS Substance has a size of 1740x902 pixels.
Conclusion: The TS Substance has the actual size of about 1/4 of the monitor.

Most users have enough plugins and unfortunately rather and a plugin overkill. These old and no longer updated 32 bit plugins are more for fans and lovers of old plugins.

If you use the free BandLab - Cakewalk (Ex Sonar) you don't need jBridge because it's already built in. Thanks @eXACT for your experiences and opinions.
