Switching between presets make pops, too bad!

Ye! However it's v1.0.0 , but clear to see they rushed the release of the plugin ("We'll take care of the bugs later!")

Tone Empire always seem to have little niggling things like this in their plugs

auto gain on minimum drive also make loud pop.

Overall it's kinda nice sounding. I like it.

It's just dirty switches and contacts. Just spray come contact cleaner on those bits - that will fix it. Pretty dam good emulation right down to the old glitchy switches and knobs!!

Didn’t we have the emulation of this device before?

it's Decapitator on default settings and Waves Kramer tape pre section. I think the dev got his hand on the Warm Audio version and machine learn that shit.

Isnt it the Ampex 351 preamp ?

it's from a tape machine preamp section, I think it's hard to get, but Warm Audio remade them and getting a lot of praise lately plus it's kinda cheap

yes, my point is, the original unit is hard to get these days, it can go up to 4-5k on good condition unit, because it comes with the tape machine. One needs to pull it off from the whole tape machine unit and mod it so it can work as a standalone unit. Doing that will make the Tape Machine section useless. The tape machine is around $8k but also hard to get. It doesn't come stock as standalone preamp unit, both 350 and 351.

The Warm Audio remake (preamp only) is around $600 and pretty sure dev just bought that one and modeled it and says it's 351, which is not wrong since they probably sound close because the WA unit getting a lot of praise from music community. Marketing stuff.

Ahh so the ones they sell in Reverb are extracted - removed from the 351 Tape Machines and not standalones . Maybe you are right or maybe they " rent " one in order to copy it . Ill send them an email to ask them im curious , if they tell me the truth and if they answer . . . Thanks

Ah, damn, not compatible with MOCHA's releases.

Any more info? It works here alongside MOCHA's Goliath V2 and NeuralQ V2, in FL Studio 20, Win 10. I'm using Tone Empire Emulator v.1.0.1 which isn't on this release but somewhere in the previous R2R releases. This release is v.1.0.0

The plugin shows Invalid email or password.
Didn't work with v1.0.1 either (but was a good tip, thanks).
Sadly, I couldn't even find these data in the registry for MOCHA's releases.
