Super Fast 100
A legendary 100W all-tube amp that defined the sound of modern rock with its shiny cleans, creamy leads, and high-gain sounds.

Reverb Delight
A timeless classic from the mid-60s, played on countless hits, and regarded as one of the most essential workhorse guitar amps ever made.

AC Box XV
Modeled after a legendary 60s tube amp renowned for its clean tone and gritty breakup, AC Box XV features a meticulously designed "point-to-point" hand-wired chassis produced in the UK. This two-channel tone monster shaped the sound of Liverpool.

Bass Rage
An iconic all-tube bass amp that delivers 300 watts of classic bass tone, designed for players who are looking for the authentic, vintage tube sound that has earned the respect of the industry.

Noise Machine
Create tones inspired by classic gear like cassette tapes, VHS tapes, electrical hum, and vinyl.

Guitar Rig 3 was the first amp sim plugin I ever tried, and it was so far ahead of every other amp sim plugin I knew of (at least IMO). I actually liked Amplitube 1 as well, but Guitar Rig 3 was the shit back then It's a shame that NI hasn't been able to continue competing with the rest of the pack. I guess guitar amp simulation hasn't been one of their main focuses!

I would say the opposite.
Amplitube 1 was ground breaking.
GR always stayed behind to me, feel wise and especially on high gain.
It stayed like this until V5.

I will try this one to see any real improvement ... but i dont expect much compared to Amplitube/ToneX and THU overloud with Rig Player.

Ultra fast review : even their last ICM Super Fast 100 (SLO 100) sounds NOTHING close to an SLO 100.

More than that, ALL mid/high gain amps sound "fuzzy".
There is no crunch, just high end fizz (and not sounding good).

So from v1 to v7 ... it sounds just bad.
It is totally under Amplitube/ToneX, THU with Rig player, Helix ...

Thanks for sharing !
I know it is not for me

It took me 5 minuts to hear the bad sound.

GR6 was one of my favorite plug-in. I don't like Ableton's browser full of multiple plugins, so I prefer module/rack plugins.
GR6 was full of their cool plugins. Crush pack, Softube Comp, Kush Comp, Replika & Raum.
GUI slowed down compared to GR5, but it was still a satisfying plugin.
But GR7 is too slow and new plugins are not interesting at all.
I'm a fan of lo-fi plugins and this isn't up to the level of rc-20, goodhertz, and audiothing.
I really liked their crush pack, so I was looking forward to it, but I'm disappointed.
I'm going to use GR6. It feels like updated it with a sense of duty like iZotope.

Yes, the .jwt file is created correctly, but when I launch Guitar Rig, I'm in demo mode.

if you have followed all the instructions correctly it could be due to your network adapter...

oh thank you for this information! It works now!!! After removing my network card from the device manager and rebooting my PC, the keygen now generates a valid key. Thanks a lot!

Will it over-write my GR6 installation and all my tweaks or will it be a separate installation?

only runs in demo mode

Make sure the license file exists, the installer puts it in the following folder

"C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\Native Access\RAS3",

there should be a file inside called

"f819ab0d-6180-44cf-b2f6-56f6d0c70f25.jwt".

(Not sure if the number is different per machine)

if you followed all the steps correctly and you're still out of luck remember that this type of activation relies on your network card (like R2R EZDrummer releases) even if you are offline

Have any of you ditched your official Komplete Ultimate licenses for the R2R variants?

Hey! Thanks for the review. I agree completely. Guitar Rig is mediocre at best to my ears (ymmv of course). Would you please recommend the best amp/fx simulator etc in your opinion? It would be great if it can be found here so I can try it before buying. I own a huge pedalboard full of strymons and such "boutique" pedals. It sounds amazing and real, but it is difficult to move. I need something portable and practical for a gig.

Thanks for reading!
Cheers

That would be a great thread for Audiosex.

For guitar vst I always come back to Amplitube.

And for easy to move on scene , I use a Ampero One. If I could / wanted to afford it, I would try a Headrush, (after I had expensive digital effects that works, but dev, like Boss, stopped updating drivers, I decided to never buy an expensive digital effect again.)

Hope this helps

I encountered some kind of possible bug with this new version, where the knobs were glitchy and unusable when adjusting with the mouse. I seemed to remedy the problem by opening the Standalone version, re-setting the size to 100% (which is perfect @ 4K) then re-opening the VST3 version in Ableton Live and re-adjusting the default GUI size to 100% again.

Just leaving this message for anyone who might find the same issue. Otherwise, nice update! Gotta love how far NI has come since GR5 and those older legacy versions.

I'm having the same problem with it still being in Demo mode. I followed the instructions and even disabled my network adapter as someone mentioned it worked for them. No luck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
