If you have trouble running the installer on mac you need to put a dot"." in front of the file name ".InstallationAttributes.dat"

If you don't know how to change it:

In finder press ⌘ + ⇧ + . ( command + shift + dot) to toggle hidden files visibility.
You can now rename the file to start with a .
