Seems like it. It doesn't show up for me on Windows 7 Studio One 4.6. Been having more and more problems with plugins just not working right, or not working at all in W7. Might just have to finally take the plunge and switch over to W10...

Same setup here, win7, studio one 4.6.... doesn't show up.... God Forbid, Giving up windows 7, switching the OS would be devastating to my mental health.

Guys, it's not 10 you have to worry about; it's version 11. 10 has been excellent for audio (excluding MS updates, oy).

Yeah I figured that much since it's been out so long and already replaced by 11. Firefox is now forcing me to upgrade to 10 or higher too. The time has come to finally say goodbye to 7. Are you with me adsaxx?

If you don't like W10, you could possibly install "PhoenixOS" lite version of it, or "Ghost Spectre" compact or superlite version of it. I tried both on my old laptop which had Windows 7 installed, and decided to leave PhoenixOS lite version. Uses 800MB of RAM at startup, just like my Linux Debian 12. Ghost Spectre compact or even better superlite is maybe even better. Really nice package. Maybe try both and see which one you like best. There's also W11 PhoenixOS and Ghost Spectre... but I don't see any use for w11 as 10 works with everything I throw at it. Cheers!

I love how the Sonible Smartgate works as far a a gate. Quite useful; however, many times the plugin causes Cubase to totally freeze up and I must force my DAW to end. (Windows 11) I've no problems with other Sonible plugins.

Smae here, were you able to uniinstall it , my system frezees now and cannot uninstall windows 11.

sorry for beeing unclear be unclear, where you able to uninstall it ? I cannot finad any tracr of the plugin in my system ( Windows 11 ) but cubase 12 is crashing all the time now.

Sorry about the late reply. The Sonible SmartGate was in my uninstallers list (Wise Uninstaller). The plugin would lock up my Cubase every time I took it out of a channel. Now that it is uninstalled, no more problems.

I tried both the Coby version and the R2R version. They both screw up my Cubase. (I'm still on Cubase 9.5).

Same here (Cubase 12 / Win 10). Smartgate freezes Cubase. Never had any problems with Sonible plugins bfore.
