heard a lot of good thing about this plugin, but some are saying it's just a waveshaper. Thanks R2R for making it possible to check it out myself.

Well, it is "just" a waveshaper. However, it's made to be able to mimic Sonnox Inflator, as well as adding some additional saturation algos and features.
