Diff is: R2R crack of FabFilter is properly done. It used to be VR forgets hidden checks/bombs on FabFilter cracks.

Decide on your own wich one you will take - i'll choose the R2R one

Usually with V.R releases all you need to do run the installer and thats it, but with R2R you will need to install then generate a keygen and activate it yourself.

No if you have used the keygen once you never need to use it again unless you are so stupid that you uninstall previous version and delete everything.
The only time you need to reg a plugin is when Fabfilter release a new plugin or a new version of an existing plugin.

I mean you still have to use the keygen, even if its once with R2R but with VR the installer regs it for you and that was the point I was getting at, I was explaining how it differs between the two.

Hello, I'm new to this page and am still trying to figure it all out. I was able to download the file and extract it but all I see are the vst's and can't figure out how to run them. I'm sure I'm missing something simple but was wondering if you could help me out :)

You need install a DAW software or an Audio Software with VST, VST2, VST3 or AAX plugins compatibility.

AAX in case of MAC I think, im not sure because I do not use MAC 😬
Out their are many programas with that capabilities, just check VST compatibility to ensure proper funcionality.
Then you will can use this and other plugins

MAC use AU or VST.
AAX is specific to Proftool

I have never uninstalled previous R2R's FF releases, just update on top. No issues so far.
If uninstalling was required R2R would clearly state it in their NFO.
Of course, if you have some issues you should do complete uninstall/install procedure to keep it clean.

Thank you for this update Funtime!!!!!!!!

I have the noobest (is that a word?) of questions.... every time I update Fabfilter, all my projects which use pro q3 keep deleting the eq settings. It is a pain to go one by one and set the eq right again. I know I can save presets, but with so many songs and channels using pro q3 it would be daunting (I know this is a word!). Any tips? Something I am not doing? Cheers

there's one trick that i usually use with studio one but you will probably end up walkin' on thin ice with that one so, be careful... disable the plugin scan before updating them, load a project, save and reboot the daw with the scan enabled... they usually have the same name so the daw still recognize them BUT it skips the first time start-up reset... as mentioned, it works for me... no guarantees...

for the people to lazy to use the keygen just install the V.R. version of it first then uninstall it what happens is that the registry is still there then install this R2R version of it then there is no keygen needed at all everything is automatically activated

Everything works fine but it still has the activation window pop up when i open the plugin. Is it anything wrong with it?
