i did al the steps with the root , and silk emulator , but Spectralater keeps telling me to install the latest activation manager...

How to install if you haven't yet installed R2R Root Certificate and R2R Steinberg Silk Emulator:

(Both R2R files can be found on this Audioz)

-First run this file "R2RCA.cer"
-Select Install Certificate
-Select Local Machine
-Select Place all certificates in the following store
-Go to Browse and select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities"
-Click Next and Finish

Check with "R2RCERTEST.exe" if it is installed properly

Install "R2R Steinberg Silk Emulator"

Restart and you're done

Probably an off-topic question, but can anyone suggest software that can separate two different voices on a recording? SpectraLayers doesn't do a very good job, to say the least.
