Why do people always try to match/compare eqs with Pro-Q? It is not a reference. I can give many reasons of most eqs that have more advantages.
Pro-Q is just popular and overhyped. But it is not for all eq purposes. Each eq has its own pros and cons

Pro Q is pretty much a golden standard now for digital EQ's. It's intuitive, fast, and not too-CPU hungry.
The industry is copying Pro-Q for a variety of reasons. It's extremely useful while being minimal.

The concern should be: instead of the industry copying the best thing right now, why don't they create the next best thing?

Pro-Q paved the way for all the post-coming EQ's, that's tangible fact, but to be honest I don't care how much Fabfilter influenced the scene (or maybe yes...), But I just ask for arguments on why would you need something new that offers no gain...

I tried it. odd thing. could not find how to set Q and could not create or save presets
