Pulsar Modular P440 Sweet Spot v1.0.0 Incl Keygen-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 2023.05.05 | 10.3 MB
You have very likely heard words similar to the following uttered many times about mastering: “it makes the music come to life” or “it is the final polish that transitions into something breathtaking” or “It is like… magic!”. The wizardry lies in the hands of the practitioner of course, but surely, as all wizards wield an unassuming yet infinitely powerful device that is a conduit between their mystical knowledge and the physical world, so does the mastering engineer. To the wizard, it is the magic wand and to the mastering engineer, it is the equalizer.

Forget everything you have been taught about “High Passing” frequencies below 30Hz, and welcome to Sweet Tremor boosting infrasonic frequencies! Attenuate frequencies and you end up with a punchier and open sound! Boost frequencies and end up with sweet cotton candy all over your ears! Scream in horror when you check in Plugin Doctor the low shelf at 200 Hz or the high shelf at 2 kHz with a “stairway to heaven” graph, but then melt in your chair when you listen to it- like candy on a hot summer day. Nothing makes sense …visually but your ears tell you otherwise.

P440 Sweet Spot will let you rethink what an EQ can do. P440… your mystical magic wand.

More than 98% of audio software still work perfect on win7, except latest cubase, nuendo, reason12+, stupid one live, latest waves/ni and several others.
I am fine with latest reaper and several thousands of plugins (latest versions and several "latest for win7").
Most say their stuff is for win10+, but still are win7 working.

Many VST's are Win10+ latelyt. Do not support Win7 anymore.
If you install on Win7 they do not appear.

Not too many, just several, few... I rarely have this problem

Win7 user here! It has become more frequent lately that new plugins won't install or won't be recognised on Win7 or there are issues with missing dependencies, that are only present on Win 10.

Installed and tested it on a few good mixes. Sorry to say but this plugin is far from “It is like… magic!” or “it makes the music come to life” - Typical markteing bullshit claims.
Just deleted it.

Imho, they just trt to emulate closer to analog gear curves, harmonics, behaviour, compression timingetc. Just a waveshaper on steroids in 3D with bells/shelves/filters not like fabfilter standard maths curves and perfect digital gain compression...
But i don't like its oversampling algo... Cpu killing a bit, but improves not too much... Such devices emus also have some unfiltered dc offset

But... but... it *looks* like hardware, so it must be great.

Thank you very much ... Something very weird happend during testing it. It made an very extreme insane volume jump which was very dangerous for hurting my ears. Luckily i wasnt listening too loud.
Ableton live windows 11
It just happened again when i pressed the green button down on the right, like before

always use protection like Nugen's sigmod or the free Cerberus Audio Ice9 on the master bus. they are essentially "digital fuses".

Do you mean the green LED for activating the high shelf? If you have the big round knob (gain for the high shelf) set to max, and you then activate the high shelf, there will be a big jump in volume. If you had the gain knob at noon there should be barely any difference in volume tho, so if this is the case there could be a bug.

Yes the green LED for the highshelf. It was in default, i just turned it on.
it really was an extreme volumejump in form of a short white noise and my headphones where at normal levels, if i would have had them louder i would be screwed.

Okay. Then it's definitely a bug. From what I gather, it sometimes takes a while for Pulsar Modular to fix all of the bugs, even after they've released the official v1 versions. It's nothing out of the ordinary for the v1 version to still have bugs, but extreme jumps in volume like you are describing should really have been taken care of already in the alpha versions. They are not a big company though, so I can understand if they can't test every possible computer/OS/software combinations there are, but this is probably why they have public beta testing.

Volume jumps like this shouldn't be a huge problem in modern DAWs since most of them have automatic muting of channels when the volume exceeds a certain limit. It was a while since I used Live now so I can't remember if it has that, but it really should.

Always have the ice9 plugin on the master channel. Set it as the default template please. It's free , just Google it. Mixers ain't worth shit without ears. Take care.

I agree! It's crucial! Once you blast your eardrums with super loud bursts, there is no going back to your prior hearing capacity!

Thank you very much friends! it was very dangerous, i think it is a bug or something.
Will try those out and never work without one in the masterbus again.

Do not like the plugin . . . have tons of hardware, and this thing is not for me . . .not emulate anything really. . . .

Unlike other tools, this one requires some familiarization time. Regardless of the presets, which are always the starting position, it is necessary to carefully balance each change.
The authors have tried to explain all the functions and it is up to the users to discover how they affect each other. Keep in mind that this is an emulation of a complex device and the signal we pass through it undergoes complex modification. Throwing guard parameters (which protect the signal from popping) into the code would probably mean completely re-composing the tool and make it too bulky. We will see what the authors decided in the next version, but the tool certainly deserves attention.
Thanks to R2R

It shouldn't make any difference at all. It's probably just some error they've made in one, or a couple, of lines. Extreme volume jumps like Tim52 describes are (basically) never meant to happen, and are usually caused by some miscalculations. Fixing this should be easy for them.

I don't know what their purchase contract looks like, but if they haven't stated in the contract that they are not liable for any damages that their software might cause, they could get in legal trouble for things like this. Especially if someone damages their hearing.
