Gaffel is a tool that splits audio into different frequency bands. Using it on multiple channels lets the user create multiband effect(s) out of any other plugin installed. Frequency parameters are globally synchronized between different instances of the plug in if they’re set to the same group, which makes it really convenient to work with in any DAW.

I really thought you'd put this on a track and it would split the audio internally and do everything in one track. But no, you need multiple instances of the plugin in multiple tracks. God no.

Reaper has its own Band Splitters and Joiners which does the same thing internally in one track.

not all daws have that feature e.g cubase is lacking this feature, there is no band-splitting stuff. you cannot even put Phaseplant's splitter to use some cubase-bundled or third party plugins on each subchannel since cubase is not capable of routing the additional outputs to separate tracks. For that purpose this plugin here is the answer

Didnt know this plugin existed bluecat mb7 mixer is a great alternative for those who dont want to make multiple tracks of the same audio for multi band splitting
