This handy tool allow you to check the signature of Windows FabFilter plugins VST/VST3/RTAS.

You can find that legit FabFilter plugins and R2R releases has valid signature, which means timebomb-safe.

The timebomb of FabFilter is triggered by self-signature-validation. Pirated or not, when the plugin has any modificatoin, it cause timebomb (loud noise + opening web site).

Changes since v1.0.0 :

* Windows XP support added.

* (Hopefully) fixed for some people who gets error instead of file open dialog.

do you need to run the plugins or put this in a particular directory or something?

just run the tool... navigates where your FF plugins are installed (VST or VST3 folder) and select the DLL that you wanna check...

i use it on VR FabFilter.TotalBundle.2021.12.CE-V.R and all plugins are invalid. Is it works only for r2r last release, r2r any release or on any reales?

other release apart from R2R (and the retail one ofc) are modified... this tool serves only as a checker to see if the plugin will bomb due to an invalid signature... like in your case...

I don’t really understand the purpose of this, Why would I want to check the signature of plugins? I mean if they are cracked by r2r they’re good. What’s to check?

This tool actually is not exclusively just for their plugins, but to test another teams releases, which btw all of them result with VALIDATION FAILED (bad cracks)!

Only FF legit and Team R2R plugins are VALID.

BTW, this tool in that way, shows to us how little almost none of patching or altering the binaries is applied to the plugins itself, so they work like they are LEGIT !
In other words, Team R2R show to wannabe crackers (and they are well known) WHO IS THE BOSS in the scene :) LOL
