Toxic 3 is the successor of the award-winning Toxic 2 synthesizer. One of the warmest, crisp, and clear Frequency Modulation engines around, it owes its sound to the precise calculation of the digital signal. Due to high-resolution DSP processing, it produces sounds with an extremely low noise threshold - something that most FM engines cannot offer.

The Toxic 3 also includes superior analog-modeling techniques in the filter section. Powerful effects such as EQ, a Distortion unit and two Chorus/Flanger/Delay sections, complete this excellent generator. The user interface is easy to comprehend and allows instant access to all relevant parameters.

An additional tool is the built-in sequencer. It offers a total of 64 steps, which can be divided into two independent, 32 step modules to allow double-polyphonic patterns. With its "Smart Sequencer" technology, when a chord is played, the module defines that chord, and tunes the pattern accordingly. The sequencer also allows for pure playback of the programmed sequence from single notes.

Great plugin. Though I remember having problems with this specific version, and ultimately went with Image.Line.ToxicIII.v1.41.VSTi-AMPLiFY.

Though one flaw Toxic 3 has is that you cannot automate the FM amounts in the matrix... yikes! Must've been a mistake because it was fine in Toxic 2.

But you can use Toxic Biohazard (aka Toxic 4) instead if you need that - it's completely based on the same sound engine and so is backwards compatible (many Toxic 3 patches actually come with it, though can be a pain to find).

But yeah great plugin, I love how the delay sounds. And some of the textures you can make are just .... chef's kiss!

It doesn´t work with Renoise

Tested on Windows 11 - doesn't detect in FL Studio 21.2.2. Does detect in Fruity Loops 3.5.5, but can't open due to an access violation error.

Would be interested in an upload of v1.41 or another version which would work, if that's possible. Thank you.
