POWERFUL HYBRID SYNTHESIZER FOR INFINITE POSSIBILITIES
Falcon is an advanced and truly unlimited hybrid instrument, bringing together an extensive collection of cutting-edge oscillators, effects, modulators and event processors and delivering them in a workflow-adaptive and highly-scriptable environment. Falcon allows you to create and manipulate sound with unparalleled precision and finesse, from basic sample slicing and synth design to extravagantly modulated multitimbral hybrids.

Mix and modulate samples, synthesis modules, fx and more in todays most extensive and streamlined hybrid instrument

Creative Hybrid Instrument
16 oscillators, 90+ effects, modulation sources, MIDI processors with scripting in an expansive semi-modular sound design environment
Advanced sample engine with timestretch, pitch-shift, slicing and granular
Pure synthesis with subtractive, PM, FM, wavetable, additive and physical modeling

WIDE RANGE OF SOUND SOURCES
Mix and match sound sources using sampler-like key zones with sample-based or pure synthesis oscillators:
— Each sample can be individually manipulated using timestretch and pitch-shift algorithms as well as granular synthesis from IRCAM. Loops can be sliced, chopped-up and mapped to the keyboard using the Slice oscillator.
— 9 pure synthesis oscillators including virtual analog, wavetable, phase distortion, FM and additive type, and even physical modeling with the pluck oscillator

Unique and powerful effects
Over 90 high-quality effects are at your disposal, categorized for easy navigation: Delays, Reverbs, Modulation, Filters, Equalizers, Amps and Stereo, Drive and Distortions, Dynamics, Analysis and more. Add effects at the patch level, as sends or even per note. Including Sparkverb, Thorus, an optimized convolution reverb and many, many more.

WHAT'S NEW IN FALCON 2.8?
Since Falcon’s initial release we have been committed to expanding its creative potential. Listening to our user’s experience and feedback, we regularly add new factory content, modules, enhanced functionality and optimizations. Version 2.8 packs a powerful selection of updates including a new oscillator, new effects, new sequencers and scripts, new presets, and more, all free for existing users!
Registered users of Falcon and SonicPass can download Falcon 2.8 immediately with UVI Portal.

NEW OSCILLATOR!
The all-new Texture oscillator is designed to help you create complex and evolving textures and noise with two channels of sample playback, streamlined controls, filters, blending, and a massive library of preset sounds to get you going.

NEW EFFECTS!
7 massive new effects are landing with Falcon 2.8, including a brand new pitch shifting engine available in Shifter (single) and Harmonizer (multi) flavors, the enhanced Dual Delay X, now with dispersion, diffusion, digital grit, and tape saturation in the feedback loop, the all-new Diffuse Delay and Velvet Delay, two novel delay lines ideal for morphing sounds into lush ambient washes, Granulizer, a granular audio effect ideal for adding texture and variation, and Feedback Compressor, a modern and featured take on vintage compressor designs.

NEW SEQUENCERS AND SCRIPTS!
Falcon 2.8 includes a bevy of new sequencers and scripts ranging from creative pattern generators to powerful performance utilities. Explore the new Chip Arp to instantly create video game arps, Ostinato Arp to create evolving 4-parts patterns, Slice Remixer, a powerful expander for the Slice oscillator that gives you a discrete interface for sequencing and randomizing your slices into new patterns, Strum Wheel, a performance utility that lets you strum notes using MIDI CC, Tape Mod, for adding a lo-fi vibe with wow and flutter, and more!

NEW PRESETS!
The Falcon Factory Library also gets some love, now with an all-new "Organic Texture" category. Here you can find 100 new patches exploring territory made possible by the new Texture oscillator, new effects, and new scripts included in version 2.8. Now with a total of 1500 presets, the Falcon Factory Library continues to expand and inspire.

ENHANCED MODULATOR!

Last but not least is a sleeper addition to the Multi Envelope modulator. You've always been able to drag-and-drop an audio file onto a Multi Envelope to extract a gain envelope, but now you can do the same and extrapolate envelopes for brightness, transients, and pitch, opening many exciting doors for sound design.

uniloking wont help here as you need also to understand what R2R did to make it with their lib tool work. Maybe R2R can release the update or just waits for v3?
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

as great as Falcon was, I feel with Nexus, Avenger, Omni and others I was able to get rid of Falcon and it's huge huge huge set of libraries. I am just not missing much without it. I know others feeling differently.
Here to provide, enjoy the shares, contribute where you can! PM me to provide supplies and do your part.

hahah same, i like one preset from the FM Library, thats a huge waste of space otherwise and i couldnt get warm with the GUI for tweaking my own presets.

N4 and omni for me, it just does everything for me.

as someone that has owned around 50 vintage synths over the years and is pretty picky about how vst synths sound, Falcon was the first time I felt like I was getting close to the sound of my old hardware. Especially after turning off all the built in effects and fixing the somewhat bad gain staging of their presets, Falcon synths can sound pretty great (especially the newer ones available to us like Memories, USQ-1, Program 24, Sunbox, etc).

Agree the Gui is organized in a 'funny' unusual way.
Each sound comes up with immediate different set of controls...
few tweaking (including FX) and I get some punchy useable sounds
with little diving into deeper editing.

Libraries:
some, straight into the bin
some, in storage for possible use
many, kept like gold!

For me is Falcon before N4... certainly after Omni

I don't think half the people who use this plugin realize what its capable of. Forget the libraries.. what you can do with the built in oscillators is unreal. There's almost nothing that can do what Falcon can.

yeah, many people go on about how great kontakt synths are but for capturing the sound of rare older synths to a great degree I think no one does it better than UVI. And as you mention the built in oscillators are pretty decent sounding. I think Soundpaint has some pretty good sounding stuff from the demos I've heard of their "ultradeep sampled" synths where they sample two separate machines or something, but I have yet to try the actual releases...hmmm...I wonder why that could be....

That's true, IF you pass up the completely unusual way it is setup, if you want to create your own sounds from scratch...

These eternal young pc users with their always the same "buy a PC"...

I have severals PC and severals macs. And I have licenses, and UVI also. But I have no installers, becouse not registered.

And you need to buy licenses and not rush anymore at the mac users, like a small dog on an elephant.

UVI Plugs and Pro Tools are very high on my list. Witches can do great magic, they did already with the 2.5.3 release. This 2.8 release is certainly worth spilling some potions and scrolls to read out loud. Let the witches dance, let them sing, wave and chant. Let them do their thing so we can hope that they give what we want. <3

Question, why Avid remove UVI Falcon from Pro Tools?

quote by MahadStudiobuy a PC theres no reason for Mac´s anymore since ages..

It is more the other way around, since Apple introduced M1 there is no need to get an overprized loud hot running Intel or AMD machine when you can get a relative cheap macMini M1

Since VST2 is slowly dying, we could need it.

Hi guys what is the problem do not tell me? I downloaded all the archives from here (from the mirror at the bottom link current, because the first one needs a password there and it is not written completely in the description), as a result, when you open the archive, they say with the prog, Windows writes - the archive is damaged or has an unknown format ...

So, have they added a VST3 to this? and MPE capability?
