WIDE RANGE OF SOUND SOURCES
Mix and match sound sources using sampler-like key zones with sample-based or pure synthesis oscillators:
— Each sample can be individually manipulated using timestretch and pitch-shift algorithms as well as granular synthesis from IRCAM. Loops can be sliced, chopped-up and mapped to the keyboard using the Slice oscillator.
— 9 pure synthesis oscillators including virtual analog, wavetable, phase distortion, FM and additive type, and even physical modeling with the pluck oscillator

Over 90 high-quality effects are at your disposal, categorized for easy navigation: Delays, Reverbs, Modulation, Filters, Equalizers, Amps and Stereo, Drive and Distortions, Dynamics, Analysis and more. NEW OSCILLATOR!
The all-new Texture oscillator is designed to help you create complex and evolving textures and noise with two channels of sample playback, streamlined controls, filters, blending, and a massive library of preset sounds to get you going.

NEW EFFECTS!
7 massive new effects are landing with Falcon 2.8, including a brand new pitch shifting engine available in Shifter (single) and Harmonizer (multi) flavors, the enhanced Dual Delay X, now with dispersion, diffusion, digital grit, and tape saturation in the feedback loop, the all-new Diffuse Delay and Velvet Delay, two novel delay lines ideal for morphing sounds into lush ambient washes, Granulizer, a granular audio effect ideal for adding texture and variation, and Feedback Compressor, a modern and featured take on vintage compressor designs.

NEW SEQUENCERS AND SCRIPTS!
Falcon 2.8 includes a bevy of new sequencers and scripts ranging from creative pattern generators to powerful performance utilities. NEW PRESETS!
The Falcon Factory Library also gets some love, now with an all-new "Organic Texture" category. Here you can find 100 new patches exploring territory made possible by the new Texture oscillator, new effects, and new scripts included in version 2.8. Now with a total of 1500 presets, the Falcon Factory Library continues to expand and inspire.

ENHANCED MODULATOR!
Last but not least is a sleeper addition to the Multi Envelope modulator. You've always been able to drag-and-drop an audio file onto a Multi Envelope to extract a gain envelope, but now you can do the same and extrapolate envelopes for brightness, transients, and pitch, opening many exciting doors for sound design.
