Cytomic The Glue v1.5.11 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 2023.01.21 | 12.1 MB
The Glue is a high quality analog modeled plug-in based on a cross between an E and G series SSL 4000 buss compressor with some additional features. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulation packages but optimised for real time use. It's quick and easy to use and has an uncluttered interface.

Additions include an ultra-fast attack time of up to 0.01mS and a Range knob which backs off the compression to give incredibly natural sounding attacks and limits the maximum amount of compression applied. Also included are external sidechain support and an adjustable side-chain highpass filter.

Does this work exactly the same as the Ableton Live stock FX version?
You will not be forgotten, Olymoon.

Live's Glue comp is a stripped down version of the plugin. You've got at least more than 2x oversampling with the plugin and also high pass on the side chain.

Ableton's glue comp has the high pass sidechain filter in the EQ section

almost no reason to use this plugin in Ableton Live. The Glue Compressor in Ableton LIve is embed inside the Live framework that double its efficiency compared to running this plugin inside Live. Coded by the same person and 98% sound the same.

The Ableton oversampling is a much shorted FIR, so there is more high frequency drop when you use it. Also Live only supports x2 oversampling. For mastering you really want x4 or x8 oversampling on render to keep things super clean. If you are doing lots hard clipping and other severe processing you need up to x64.

I wouldn't be afraid to deviate from the standard here ;) In general, I don't like what oversampling does to the transients of a sound - and the higher you go, the worse it gets. Still not the greatest solution to aliasing I think, but of course whatever sounds best to you is usually the right way to go in my book.

I think its hilarious that people go ape shit excited over "oversampling" 9 times out of 10 i think it sounds like shit. especially with kicks or bass. like you said...the higher you oversample...the worse it sounds. i honestly usually dont oversample anything. not even my master. of course i try it and like i said...9 times out of 10 it sounds lke shit... im not going to oversample simply because other people seem to really encourage it. im just going by what my ears tell me.

yeah kinda get the idea but clipping on the master bus compressor is kinda... hmm feels like doing it wrong don't you think ? I mean, sending a full blown maximized signal into it is already undo most of why you use it in the first place already. I mean emulation like that always have sweet spot for input to get the best out of it. Also why would anyone need a masterbus compressor to glue things together for a maximized signal is still beyond me.

"drag & drop auth file on GUI" doesn't work for me. Just doesn't let me do that. Anyone?

I believe it has something to do with running as admin. Give that a try, I know I got it to work by right clicking my daws shortcut and properties. Then shortcut tab and advanced - then run as admin.

I would try running as admin the normal way first as this way changes my daws desktop shorcut icon and wont revert back for me. Had to reinstall my daw to fix it, but the license was good after that.

Thanks for your kind reply Atma! You're right with your assumption - hast something to do with running as admin. BUT: I had to NOT run my DAW (in this case Reason12) as admin to be able to drag the license file into DAW. All good now. Will try the other Cytomics now...thanks again and take care!

if you can't drag and drop the license file, start daw NOT as admin.

Thank you very much for your hint, dude, that exactly did the trick: >>>NOT<<< run DAW as admin. Also resolved my Sylenth1 problem - so your help is very much appreciated!
