Right, there are both .. but the Screenshot from OP has now changed to the Compressor. So it's not about the AMEK EQs when he originally posted it.

it is a non existence plugin ? and the exe file is blocked by Windows internet security settings upon opening. Anybody tested the installer ? is it working for you ?

this is weird. did anybody checked it first ? before slapping R2R tag on them ?

EDIT : Apparently it is a new plugin that is still in BETA. I've installed it, and it works fine.

Anyway :

1. Dirk Ulrich once mentioned that the Dynamic Section of a AMEK console is basically a digitally controlled dynamic or Virtual Dynamic where it has its own AD/DA converter which actually means, it's a digital compressors, and gate. Wait, did he just emulated a digital compressor with old days code ? watch this

2. PA/Brainworx owned the AMEK brand, that kinda suggests he has access to the original code of them, is this a 1:1 remake ? Like the Softube Weiss stuff. Highly unlikely because the hardware is not a mastering grade compressor.

3. Or... it is just some fancy GUI digital compressor with some extra Crest Factor controls that Kotelnikov, DMG Compassion, Multiplicity, (to name a few, let's not mention UNISUM) already done years ago, guess what, add all bx mono maker, m/s, tmt and whatnot and finally slap the AMEK name just to add some Rupert Neve vibe to it. Oh, add the word Mastering to it to suggest that it is high-quality! lol

Fully deserved to be cracked at the BETA stage!

Its because the foldernames are to long.
Just cut the extracted "Setup AMEK Mastering Compressor v1.0.0.exe", paste it on your desktop and start it from there!

1. I don't see any problem bringing a nice digital hardware compressor to the plugin world. Sonnox did the same with a compressor and EQ.

2. You make a wrong asumption. This is an (expanded) emulation of a GML 8900 compressor.

I think this is the new mastering compressor from Amek, but since it's beta version for PA MEGA subscibers it is not yet available in Plugin Alliance's website, so the description and the link is from another product

Clearly a fake, this Compressor doesn´t exist and both EQs (200 / 250) are already included in the 2022 mega bundle that R2R released on Christmas. Most likely a virus, possibly even spread by Brainworx/PA to kill our machines, as revenge for the mega bundle release R2R did to discredit them.
