2. install Revo Uninstaller Pro Install it and put the lic file to this locations

3. uninstall Reason and install the new one !

I still love Reason even I don't use it so often now.... it took the guys a decade to implement VST3, i wonder if it was lack or resources or what but it's difficult to understand.
Also the workflow is a bit convoluted, specially for beginners, but creatively speaking Reason is still one of the best DAWs around. Thanks R2R for the jewel dropping!

they always say the secret of Reason stability was the NO VST SUPPORT

they one day gone even further in one post and say REASON WILL NEVER SUPPORT VST´s

i dont know what make them change their ideas but im very glad they finally implement VST support in Reason, now we can use Reason as a tool via VST (like a drum machine inside Ableton)

I was a Reason power user, and left it in the dust around v6
Because it was NOT possible to do all my production inside it alone
And using it synced rewired with another DAW was a major pain

No but I solved it by uninstalling it with revo, selecting all remnants and deleting them then restated and reinstalled

haha I would really advise uninstalling with revo it has a very effective cleaning function .
I had to do this cleaning after leaving the original for r2r
