The biggest little compressor

Despite being able to fit three of them in 1U of rack space, producer Sam Pura is running out of places to put these deceptively cruel soft-knee compressors. To remedy this, and as part of our personal mission to prove that size doesn’t matter, we’ve modeled it in all its characterful intricacy so that no stereo channel can avoid its death grip. This is your sonic jackhammer for concrete wall mixes. Try it on anything you want to add pumpy, aggressive life to and find yourself addicted.

System Requirements

MacOS M1 Native: VST3, AU, AAX
Windows 64bit: VST3, AAX
1 GHz Intel Dual Core Processor or AMD equivalent (PC)
4GB of RAM
Mac OS X 10.7 or higher, 10.13 or higher recommended
Windows 7 & Above
Screen res: 1024 x 768 or higher

Happy 10th release to myself. I include Mac version in the hope that it will work.

This and the Alesis 3630 helped Daft Punk create their signature sound which then went on to massively influence the whole French Disco House scene. I used to have two of these and a 3630. I am definitely looking forward to trying this in-the-box version to see if it shapes up.

Do you regret selling them?
Can you come back and give a review when you have tried them out?

I don't really regret selling them to be honest. The only piece of hardware I really regret selling is an early 80s DBX160.
As for a review, this plugin sounds pretty decent. It reacts in a similar way to how I remember the hardware. I can't say it sounds exactly like the hardware because I do not have them next to each other to compare, but it sounds similar to how I remember it sounding on something like a 909 beat or a standard House beat. It's got that nice pumpy nuance to it. I will definitely be using it on drums in the mix.
I would love it if these guys did a good 3630.
