What is the difference between this and the bobdule version with the button installer?
Doesn't the button do the same thing?

As far as we got from previous releases, the R2R Kontakt installs official libraries (aka unlocks only those), whereas bobdule´s version installs also custom made / unofficial libraries that you can create yourself with your own nicnt file + wallpaper etc.

As among us Kontakt users here many of us are probably enthusiasts of custom libraries, which became kind of a "culture" here since the >5.6.8 versions (see "Kontakt wallpaper request & comments" thread in sister forum...), for us the R2R releases of Kontakt are for that reason unfortunately not the way to go...

But I understand that this is part of the philosophy of R2R to not alter the actual software and it´s function which makes it the more reliable and stable solution generally, just in the case of Kontakt this alteration would have been desirable.

I found something that might be of concern:

The library Best Service - Chris Hein Horns Compact (CHH Compact) requires the nkx/nkc filenames to be changed to register the library.

This is how the files were originally labeled:
CHH Compact_info.nkc
CHH Compact_info.nkx


They need to be changed to this to register using the current Kontakt Manager and XML file:
Best Service - Chris Hein Horns Compact_info.nkc
Best Service - Chris Hein Horns Compact_info.nkx


Looking at the NativeAccess.xml file, this seems to be the only library to have differing "Name" and "RegKey" values:

<Name>Best Service - Chris Hein Horns Compact</Name>
<RegKey>CHH Compact</RegKey>


Lastly, this library used to show up in Kontakt labeled as "CHH Compact", so I don't know if this was an intended change from NI/Best Service, or if there was some kind of editing mistake in the data.
