Cube says:
If your DAW has a problem opening it or listing it, it is because there is a folder .vst3 that took the place of the old file .vst3. Simply cut the .vst3 folder to desktop, start DAW, when it opens fully then close it, then put back the plugin, reopen DAW and done. This resets the DAW looking for the wrong things.

My DAW was unable to download it. PluginDoctor was also unable to download it. Maybe, this plugin cannot be used in Win7.

That's showing it running in Blue Cat's Patchwork, although you can't see it in the screenshot.

Not sure what you mean by DAW/Doctor downloading. There is no downloading required outside of the post contents, itself.

Working, for sure: All Steinberg DAWs v8+, Studio One 6, Ableton Live, MOTU DP 11.21 (tested version), Pro Tools 12.5 (tested version), Vegas 20, Cakewalk (needs the process in post above), Sound Forge, Wavelab Pro, Sequoia & Samplitude (had to rescan in the program but not failed plugins too - not a long process)

To get it going on Reaper: Move the 3DX.vst3 folder to root of VST3 folder. It could be a cache issue still, but this is the only way I was able to get it going. I did fully rescan all and that didn't help.

If you're set on getting it going somehow on something I didn't list: Check caches as the process for whichever DAW requires, rescan, move the VST3 folder to root or move the .vst3 itself to root, or any combination thereof.

You're welcome. I have never looked at it in that way, but rest assured, it is guaranteed to be something strange, funky, or out-of-the-ordinary going on as evidenced by having gone for a nice stretch without a patch and the likes of R2R and V.R having to see what is going on. Short answer: It is for sure in the top half of "being hard" instead of the bottom.

I think maybe there are checks inside the code that go extra to see if it has been tampered with. This is likely, although not a known fact by me. A guesstimate.

thx, but reaper 6.71 can't find the vst3 (even after clear cache). It works in FL Studio though. Running Win10 x64...

You're welcome. Just in case it is unclear (I don't think it is, but you never know): It has literally 0%, nothing to do with the patch. It is very clean and minimal, as is strived for by most.

A picture is worth a thousand words, correct? Yes. Try copying what you see here, then fire up Reaper, go to all plugins at top of the selection list, and then type in search box: 3dx

Another sure fire way to get it going is to leave the .vst3 folder as is, then create a symlink of it to replace the highlighted folder (instead of) that is seen in the picture. If you do it this way correctly, it will then appear like this.

thank you . i tried it . rotation and scale , smoothness options are not working plus we are not able to see dolby and 5.1 options in plugin as shown in the demo video . Please Help .

You're welcome. All those options you mentioned are working well and it all depends on your specific (meaning, what you are doing with it and how) application.

Try placing it on a 5.1 Master or channel. Here it is on 5.1 Master, for proof-of-concept purposes.

This screenshot shows the output menu in the 5.1 state.

There are even more options than shown when applied to other buss types, I believe.

In even more addition to that, you can place it as the channel panner in Cubase or Nuendo now. Right click the pan graph, over the track (must be in 5.1 or greater state.) Choose: Channel panner | 3DX - In this respect, it is exactly like Anymix Pro, MAATgo, PanKnob 2, Spatifier and other stock solutions like "Renderer for Dolby Atmos."

Supposedly, it chooses the most awesome algorithms for you (like the Distance Attenuation algorithms in the graphs + other things) and I can't say I disagree with their marketing point on this. It seems to be true.

i use fl studio . i tried it . its not working . do i need anything else to make this plugin work and mix in 7,1 or dolby atmos ?

Another member says it is working well in FL Studio, so I will have to assume (you know what they say about this word! - I kid. I kid. :) ) that it is ok in it, so no, nothing else is required.

You might try rescanning in FL with the option to "Rescan plugins with errors" too, while it does. Other than that, if you're more descriptive of your troubles - like what happens, what doesn't happen - then perhaps there will be something new to say or tell.

If the "Rescan plugin with errors" didn't help, try the "Rescan previously verified plugins" option.

Do not feel like you are wasting time as these scans take place, regardless of outcome. They are necessary anyhow, to ensure cleanliness in database(s.) For example, it just told me that a JBridged AAS Player .dll was missing. This is correct for my system now, as I have x86 VST3 in place instead, negating the need for JBridge. So, on I go to delete the JBridge files. System better as a result, right there. It is a tool, if you think of it correctly. Cleanliness is a key factor in smooth operations in all computing, especially for DAWs and plugins. I suspect this is the type of thinking that drives R2R to call an old file, "dirty."

my vst is working but not fully . i checked website of novonotes . They mentioned we can mix in stereo only in fl studio . it is the reason mine is not working fully may be . i dont know .

i dont want to switch daw for the sake of just dolby mixing . Please crosscheck if this vst is fully functionally in fl studio ( windows ) . if possible make a video demo as well .
