Shame it still blocks the Line 6 website. This is a pain when you've got legit Line 6 hardware.

Microsoft PowerToys has a Host editor. It might be easy for you to use their toggle on/off switch for these cases maybe?

Thanks. I just edited the hosts file and blocked my DAW instead. Just have to unblock if it needs an update.

i dont think so the keygen work on Mac,when click on the keygen i get this message "Products are now registered"

Hoping this works. I've been using VR versions for a while as R2R wasn't working (properly a conflict based on leftover files for previous VR).

This is still my favorite amp/FX sim. There might be ones that are technically better, but having bought a DL-4 with my student loan money 20+ years (it was the only pedal I used) some of the LIne-6 algos have reached classic status in their own right.

If you interested with sound design and different effects you can use this on synths, vocals etc. but its not proper for mixing.

You can use it on anything you want, though the interface is pretty minimal as it's designed to be familiar to users of the hardware rather than have a fancy interface.

Not regular mixing (too cumbersome).
But if you disable "Cab" section, you will get amazing distortions, delays, modulations, special effects ...
And it is stereo.

Of course you can (and should) use it for mixing. It is common practice to use guitar stomps in studio mixing sessions (watch Tchad Blake recordig drums with Sansamp, Vance Powell uses many pedals every time and so on).

Helix Native is nothing else than a complete guitar chain, drop any pedal you want on anything you want and experimenting. Also this emulations is a top tier and what you'll have that real world isn't is a stereo!

Still VERY laggy on FL Studio 20.8.3 Windows 10 64 bit. This plugin has always had the same problems with R2R. I'm deleting the APPDATA Line 6 folder, uninstalled with RevoUninstaller, blocked the website on host file, re-installed plus keygen, but the issue persists. Closing the window of Helix freezes FL at least 10 seconds. It's the same with every Helix release from R2R.

I've got no problems with the version from V.R.

Yep. Same Issues on studio one 6. Studio one 5 is fine but in S6 whenever I close the helix windows the entire program would freeze over for a good 10 seconds before resuming. Found it weird that there was no mention of this anywhere. Now my computer isn't too beefy but it has never freeze like this even when closing amplitube 5, an obviously more demanding plugin.

Hi guys,

I am having issue with this plugin using studio one 5. The plugin show up in the list of vst, but I cannot open it. It was the same with the oldest version of this plugin, I am wondering whether there is a way around ?
