This synth, as the name implies, is based on the FM principle made famous by Yamaha's DX7 Maximum 64 voices of polyphony per instrument, and full multi-timbral operation. 6 oscillators for rich FM sounds. Oscillators can be individually fixed, or keyboard tracking, and are tunable over a huge range (+/- 96 semitones when tracking the keyboard frequency, or 0.4Hz to 25Khz when fixed).

v1.5 of this one is also avail for free at dont cracks site? (update: is actually a limited demo) ive used this paradox one forever and think it actually sounds better, crisper than natives fm 8 in ways

Man, stop spreading this misinformation. That website is mislabeled and it is not freeware. And it is NOT 1.5.

If you actually payed attention, what you're talking about is a demo of 1.4.9, linked directly at the developer's site. Or you have been using the PARADOX version without realizing.

And if you've used this demo forever, you have been only using the first 32 presets because it doesn't come with the rest. And you haven't been making your own sounds or modifying them because it does not save any FXP changes. At most you can assign automation to control specific parameters.

If you have 1.5 with the filter section, post it then. Because you probably just have the useless demo that lacks the filter section.

It bothers me when people fail to recognize a demo when they see one. The Speedsoft VX7 synth is also a demo that completely limits what you can do, but people still think its good and full version! It's not.
