It is taking a remarkably long time to install this. Is anyone else having this experience? It has been over ten minutes and it isn't even halfway done yet.

It always take a lot of time, there's a ton of jpegs for the graphics.
If installation progress bar keeps moving there's no problem, just wait or do something else :)

Yeah Windows Anti-Malware service is a massive resource hog when all you wanna do is install software. I don't always recommend disabling it but if you know the source is legit like this is then it's worth turning it off to speed up the installation.

I would only install if you have problems with your current verion. Installing & uninstalling these types of large releases can be time consuming. Better to focus on making music.

Not sure what version you have, but the one I use, Arturia FX Collection 3 2022.6 (Individual Installers + Team V.R Patches) works perfectly. I think people somehow see R2R in the title, and automatically assume it's better, which is not always the case.

There are a ton of .png files. I assume this allows the plugins to zoom in and out to a zillion different sizes.

love R2R but I got used to VR for Arturia products for the past few years. Will wait for their release.

I feel this way about VRs Kilohearts installer. Tbh tho I'm very excited for this installer since it doesn't nuke your presets like the VR one does. That was always a massive bummer imo.

I developed some kind of workflow to save all my own presets and stuff after all these years and I only install them on free time, gotta take a while to sort everything but worth the hassle with all those presets. It helped me countless of time on days when I lack inspiration.

The last version of V collection I have is V8 by R2R, is it okay to install this on top if it?

I have a ton of Analog Lab banks, and I don't want to have to import all of them again.
