IMO, this is better be used as a "distortion" plugin instead of bass amp sim. In Ableton Live the stock Pedal plugins always be used that way.

I am, however, intrigued as to how the makers of this plugin know what I consider to be the "best bass sound" I have ever heard. They don't even know me. We've never met.

Not working here on Win11, tried with VST3 in Blue Cat's and Nuendo, and the standalone: 0x1d Illegal Instruction, it seems like it might be when it is doing: roundps xmm2,xmm0,0

I have no idea if that is the patch. If I have more info, I will say about it. I am going to just re-install and see if anything changes, for now - but I don't think so. Everything else is 100% good, even new Premiere rockin' 100% today. :)

Edit: I think it is an AVX only plugin, and that is the problem for me, specifically as I don't have it on this machine.

I guess my PC is "too slow" to do rounding. haha :) Bogren, branch the program for non-AVX too.

Works fine for getting some quick rock bass tone

Cool plug for dialing a kind of saturated distorted signal for Rock and Heavy Rock crancking bass without having to deal & mess with many chain signal path...get's you there quickly with nice sound...

But.... for other kind of music...
the clean signal is dirty still not usable in any way
The cab is okay...

like I said for a quicky with heavy tone nice plug

But for real stuff dialing in

I prefer to us The RED D.I. BOX of Kush audio in combination with the Omega 458A

then send the signal path in parallel with the Kuassa Cerberus Bass Amp (as it has also option to load IR for other cab setup)

so usefull but not in all scenarios
