Everything working fine here. The plugins load faster now and nice GUI, mix button and trim for CLA compressors and API EQs. Cosmos & CR8 standalone can't be run but dont care.

Waves Harmony is worth all the hassle. It makes the Antares Harmony Engine feels like plugin from the 80s.

Use this patch to fix the issue with new harmony plugin on last release. After clean installation use this patch instead of previous one. Thanks V.R

You guys wanna hear something crazy? I didn't do a single thing special to try to make it work, but for some reason, my Waves Preset browser is working. The reason it is wild to me is because I briefly looked at what V.R did and understood enough - it shouldn't work, but it is. That's all I know for the moment. Thanks for the new one V.R and Sunny.

Nice to see Devin Townsend in there too. gaaaah and my friend Alberto Rigoni too! He is a sick sick bassist! :) He loves his Distressors and rightfully so.

You guys should have heard me yesterday with the SM57 into the new Waves Harmony. I was acting a fool with it. hahahahha

You need Microsoft EdgeWebView installed well. Waves installs it, but you should double check anyway that all is well with it. My Win 11 custom came without any Microsoft browser, so I don't know about your machine - but mine is golden like this. I use Ccleaner to delete any other folders. Even the "Temp" is not necessary.

I think the ability gets wiped out where it won't work if you delete the server that is suggested here and there, but this time, don't quote me on this as I am unsure.

I installed waves central from this new V.R release and launched it. Then i clicked on install from an offline installer and chose the waves folder from the previous V.R version and installed all the plugins i want. Then i excited waves central and installed the V.R Patch from this new release and rebooted my Windows 10 21h2 computer. Then i relaunched waves central and logged into my account, which in turn launched microsoft edge so i logged in there and it took me back to waves central where i was now logged in. Then i exited waves central, lauched Studio One V5.5 and it scanned and found all the waveshells. Once i was inside studio one i checked my effects tab and all the waves plugins were there, then i checked my instruments tab and Cr8 was also there so i launched it and it opened faster than the previous version. Then i clicked on the Cosmos icon on the top left hand side of the Cr8 plugin and it lauched cosmos and like central it asked me to login which followed the same procedure as central and after it loaded the entire library which came with the previous offline installer. So yes it's working now and all plugin presets are working now to. If your having problems just follow the procedures i mentioned above to install and everything will work fine in your daw and you won't have to download all the plugins you need online via waves central which could be very tedious.

You guys know that you can go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves
and type in the top right jammie jam search box "linux" without the quotes, and when it is done searching, click in empty space, Ctrl+A to select all, then delete. Here, it says it will delete 695 items. Yes. And gone. Over 300 MB.

I installed V.R Waves release from a couple of months back. Everything works fine, so I'd hate to uninstall everything for 1 plug-in, but I'd really like to use Waves Harmony. Can I use this patch and download just Waves Harmony while keeping everything as is? or would you recommend a clean install of everything? Thanks

If you search the previous Waves post, there are simple instructions in the comments how to have it without all the fuss. Thing is, it worked for me well but then ALL other Waves stopped working. I tried re-applying the good good but it didn't help.

So, I just wiped and re-installed latest packamajig instead of troubleshooting, which was easier. It goes fast enough (for me, at least) when you deselect the library for Cosmos, CR8 because I have it installed separately already, on another drive.

You can try, but also, word of caution.

I didn't use Wave plugins, I had a question, can all plugins be downloaded at once with this file or can they be downloaded one by one?
