Legacy Synths For Cubase 12 and/or Nuendo 12 (Includes LoopMash 2)-TeamCubeadooby screenshot
WiN | 874,6 MB
Hi everybody. My team has 4 wonderful releases to share with you all. The latest fixes something that even R2R rightfully told of a workaround for that is no longer needed. Wait and see! As for this release, all instruments have full factory presets, tagged originally too. All TeamCubeadooby releases can be mirrored 100% and is encouraged. Any questions or help, it is not a thing! Thank you to the community. In rock.

LoopMash2, Mystic, Prologue and Spector with bonus presets from retNZ for Mystic, Prologue, Spector and Retrologue

This installer installs the legacy synths and presets, including LoopMash2, to Cubase 12 by default. You can also change the installer to place the files anywhere, so, you can also install it to Nuendo 12 program folder as well.

It places files to C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound, regardless, also.

1) If you want this to work for both Cubase and Nuendo, install it twice, once for each of their default program folders.

2) When done, double-click on one of these files, so the three new ones register in Steinberg Library Manager:

C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound\FCP_SMT_004LEGACY_Cubase.vstsound
C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound\FCP_SMT_005LEGACY_Cubase.vstsound
C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound\FCP_SMT_009LEGACY_Cubase.vstsound

3) If you installed for only Cubase 12, then go into its VST Sound folder and click on one of the LoopMash files to register them. If you installed for both Cubase 12 and Nuendo 12, you can delete the LoopMash files in the VST Sound folder of one of them, then use Steinberg Library Manager to move the LoopMash files (under Cubase/Nuendo tab) to anywhere you like. In this case, I suggest deleting LoopMash VST Sound files of other Steinberg DAW folders also, as you will not need them there.

Best of luck, rock on and enjoy!

P.S. You can move your Nuendo VST Sound files, FCP_SMT_006_Nuendo.vstsound & FCP_SMT_007_Nuendo.vstsound to C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound so all Steinberg DAWs see them - in case you have any issue with that.

Finally, if you STILL have problems seeing presets, uncheck the instrument in the preset browser or MediaBay Factory VST3 presets. Tell it to "keep." The check will be gone. Now, click again to put the check back.

Thanks for this. I hope I can get this working. But so far on starting Cubase 12 I am getting a series of "file synsoacc.dll could not be located" type errors. Any ideas? I am on W11

Yes, I have seen countless people saying they can't upgrade to 12 because "I will lose my LoopMash" and similar for the others, even on SB forums. You're welcome.

I have synsoacc.dll, October 5, 2021, 6.26 MB on my system well in Windows\System32 as part of Steinberg's eLicenser software (latest version but older worked all the same well,) along with latest b25 patch from V.R. My guess is one of the two of these (or both) are missing for your system. If that is not the problem, let me know and I will think on it some. Best of luck.

I don't think it can hurt any if you want to try TeamTC Air Multi License Edition on top of V.R., if necessary to try further. V.R. alone or TeamTC alone -should- be enough I think.

Could be helpful to see, perhaps, as my systems are this: https://ibb.co/0VT21yX

I am on Windows 11 too. Very highly recommend to check out Phoenix builds, but they cannot be used to "upgrade," only clean. I have their Pro Gamer one - what a GREAT excellent start without all the nonsense. Then I did my special stuff to make it even better for privacy, but none of this matters here. It is just a side note: https://phoenixliteos.com/

Load any preset then press play in the DAW's transport.

If you mean for the other 3 instruments, then the track must be armed for record -AND/OR- listen-enabled, or both selected. (Two lowest buttons in the mixer.)

To have it record armed instantly as you load the instrument:
Preferences -> Editing -> Project & MixConsole -> Enable Record on Selected MIDI Track

Hum I tried pressing play on the transport it does not work for me. in cubase 12 win 10 x64.
I am using Team VR version.
I inserted loop mash 2 on a new track a VI instrument.
Hit play on the transport and ti just sits there.
I am Just playing not recording.

The play button on the bottom of LoopMash must be toggled on and showing as yellow. It turns green when playing. To start playback, press play in DAW transport -OR- toggle the yellow sync button in LoopMash to turn grey (off) and playback starts that way too.

Basically, if you have LoopMash play AND sync yellow, pressing play in DAW transport starts it and you hear it.

Make sure you loaded a preset well and the lines in LoopMash (some presets are only 2 lines all the way to 8) are populated. If you are having troubles doing this, uncheck the box for presets in MediaBay, tell it to "keep" then place the check back. That allows the DAW to learn exactly what it has nicely.

Thanks for the help and info. The button needed to be clicked to yellow. Then it turns green when I press play on the transport

Is you avatar a Floyd Rose?

Very nice! You can also drag and drop your own content (.wav, .mp3, probably others) to the LoopMash lines.

Close about the Floyd Rose. It's Ibanez LoPro Edge 7.

Nice, Again thanks so much for your help.

I have a old kahler on one guitar and a Floyd Rose on the other.

Steinberg Library Manager should appear like this. Notice the "LEGACY" entries. If it does not have them, then they weren't added well yet, so just double click on one of them. "Register In Place"

If any still have some sort of issue, it is a good idea to make sure all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ are latest. I don't think it matters, but just in case, my machines are all latest, including 2015-2022 14.32.31326.
