Overloud plugins do call-home via the DAW host-application. Block this in your personal firewall and reauthorize plugin.

Rule of thumb: always block DAW (+ it's dll's) and plugins from internet access attempts!

Also, can just not go online when DAW is open!
Some plugins need access when installing, so I never block the whole DAW. Rather use Little Snitch in realtime just for those online moments with plugins.

Correct, but I refuse to use these kind of plugins. Therefore this method is working for years now and no plugin has ever been deactivated this way.

means User.
IE. the hidden User Library, which you get to by holding down alt and clicking on Go in the Finder bar. Keep holding alt, click on Library.

TH-U doesn't see the license on Sierra, High Sierra, and Mojave. Intel, obvs.
It's strange because all the GEMS have always had their own license folder. And because I uninstalled everything old TH-U, I can't tell if it used to also have a separate folder for licenses.
I tried creating various folders for the license, and also tried the normal Library/Application Support pathway. Nothing.
And I've always known my Machine ID/address, so it's not that.
Although...the kg/license creator already had some other MAC ID in the GUI... which I overwrote with my correct one. Maybe I'll try again later and go with whatever MAC address it shows! lol.
What to do ?

If you are using a VPN connection the keygen will not work correctly,you have to find out your MAC address and copy it manually in the keygen.I had the same issue with other Overloud plugins,hope this helps.

I have never been a fan of the Noise Ash. I find it a bit smeary.


"Smeary" is the perfect description for what I experience as well. I am really enjoying EQP, especially the input stage saturation. What are you experiencing when boosting and attenuating the same frequencies?

Bro...I haven't encountered any bugs at all.
I checked everything with PluginDoctor. When you boost and attenuate at 100 Hz, the dip you're talking about is about 1khz, which is exactly where it should be. I compared NoiseAsh, Waves Pultec an Softube. All of them, including this fantastic and sublime Overloud, behave exactly the same with a dip at about 1 Khz. I suggest you to check your setup again...
