Reason Refill Viewer WiN screenshot
Date: 2003 | Size: 324KB
This is the Reason Refill Viewer that appeared in the Warez scene a few decades ago. I don't have any info or a website etc. It popped up in the comments and was requested by a few people, so I have dug it out from my NAS and upload it.. It is untested with current versions of Reason, but might be useful to someone...

was sadly never updated.

So it does no longer work for newer refills.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

In fact, most ppl (like me) dropped Reason years ago.
Too closed and too "i dont care about you" attitude from devs.

I hate to say it but I agree about the devs attitudes. I stopped paying them with v11, and I use r2r v12 quite a bit. Any problems I've had with the r2r-12 have been user error. When I go double check myself It works fine and I am glad to have it. I have some older refills this might work on.

That's like, your opinion, man.

All DAW companies do shit that piss people off. There is not a single DAW that is perfect to everyone.

But they are all entirely usable and valid tools for some who can make it work for them.

Cockos does everything right with Reaper. I don't have a single problem with them. They still make the most advanced DAW, updates are frequent and free, the community is great and they listen to the users.
But as long as we can use tools like Reason for free (I don't call it DAW), why should we complain here?

Surprisingly it works very neat compare with many others posted around the internet. This one has arrived just in time when I was losing my hope on using a "refill pack" again. Thank you.

hehh there is only one version, which was never updated, since propellerheads just changed to a new refill version.

I meant sources, not version. I know it could be the same one, but believe me that I couldn't make it run at all. Also, it had different instructions for it use so might guess that was the reason why it didn't work.

I've used reason since 2003.. I believe the refill viewer only works for refills made for Reason 5 or earlier..

We should gather old refils. Still good sounds.

I remember this little sweetheart way back when life and cracks was easier and more laybacked.

I supported the developer from the start and I still have a legit version of Reason version something? - cant remember any more but...........

Propellerheads fu***d it all up long time ago as they failed to support vst(i) etc.... so I never looked back.
You can't have everything; where would you put it?
