Amp & Effects Plugin
Helix® Native delivers the power of award-winning HXTM Modeling technology in a plugin. Like the hardware members of the Helix family of guitar processors—Helix Floor, Helix Rack, and Helix LT—it features the authentic sounds of vintage and modern amps, cabs, mics, and effects. But this plugin’s repertoire isn’t strictly retro. Helix Native is an open-ended sound design tool that will inspire film/TV/ game composers, producers and engineers, electronic musicians, and anyone else seeking exciting new sounds.

Preset compatibility across the entire Helix family makes it easy to transfer your studio creations to your hardware Helix device and vice-versa, and Helix Native also loads third-party impulse responses (IRs). Helix Native supports AAX, AU, and VST3 formats on Mac® and PC.

The most sought after amps and effects models.
The Helix Native plug-in provides a limitless creative palette for inspiring tone creation, with 60+ amplifiers, 30+ speaker cabinets and a wide range of 100+ effects. The interface provides a fast and intuitive tone editing workflow, so you can instantly access your entire signal chain and quickly tweak your settings. Helix Native also supports 3rd party impulse responses (IRs), offering even greater tonal flexibility.

A witch says,
Enjoy, this is a true keygen deal :)

anyone knows how this compares to AMP FARM 4.0?

Worlds better. This is one of the best sounding amp sims available, with countless heads, cabs, pedals, effects, and IR's.

Quite versatile indeed (the IRs are kinda weak), though Neural stuff does sound better in my opinion.

Works just fine in S1 v5.5 for me, Win10 64. Also confirmed in BC PatchWork standalone.

I just used it in Reaper and Studio One and it seems fine. Did you run the Hosts patch, or manually add Line 6 to your hosts file so it can't call home?

I run hosts patch , that's weird, I'll try to uninstall it and reinstall

I uninstalled it , wiped every trace of it , installed it again and now it works, bah, probably there was a trace of the previous installation left.

Still got the "Failed to connect to DSP engine, code -8201" (Windows 10, Studio One 5.5 or Ableton Live 10). This problem exists since v2 and seems to affect legit users too

I deleted everything before installation, and my host file and generated license seem to be ok... Am I the only one?

With that error in the past I found it was because I had forgotten about the appdata/roaming folder. Rename or otherwise backup and delete the appdata/roaming/line 6 folder after a proper uninstall, then reinstall again. That should get you going since native will rebuild the patches proper if they don't exist. Then you can import your old backups/IRs as needed. Regards.

Thanks for trying to help Savage1969, but i did that many times and it didn't help

That did nothing for me, unfortunately.

I get that error in every R2R release for Helix. Tried everything over the years, get the same error as you and also the error code -8207 .

Same: Two errors: "Failed to connect to DSP engine, code -8201" and "Failed to get favorite names. Service is not online. [code -8207]"

For some like us this DSP engine error happens no matter what. The VR versions works fine. It's a mystery, perhaps some tweak, go figure...
[2009] Sorry for my English. I'm working on it
[2017] I'm beginning to improve. Hell yeah, I'm a fast learner :D

yeah, I really don't understand how it works for some people but not others. I have same system as Savage1969 and tried everything.
Uninstalled everything, deleted all kinds of folders to start from scratch. These R2R versions simply do not work for me. oh well..

I had that issue once. What fixed it for me was uninstalling Helix Native using the uninstaller and then reinstalling and rerunning the keygen.
But I guess people have already tried doing that.

If you already have previous team VR Yamaha/line6/Ampeg bundle with Helix 3.10 installed provided last year, and install this 3.11 R2R release over it, the Ampeg Suite bundle will not work anymore as team VR used one license file to activate both apps. I'm not sure if this happens with legit licensing, or was just thier way of doing it.

This is becasue the R2R keygen writes a new license "V2" file in the user/app data/roaming/line6 folder that only contains the info for activating Helix.

Before installing this update I moved/renamed the existing app data folder as suggested above by Savage1969, and that did work for me to be able to update Helix as well as leave the Ampeg Suite part of the install from team VR untouched other than the license no longer being vaild.

I did find a clumsy workaround for those that wish to update Helix with this release, and still use the Ampeg Suite too. I saved a copy of the license from That Team VR bundle that activated both apps, then installed and also saved a copy the new license created by the keygen provided by R2R in a folder elsewhere on my system (Win 10 Pro, and I am using Reaper 6.45 as my main DAW). I now can swap them out for which ever application I wish to work with as I go.

The drawback with this idea/method is, obviously, you are unable to use both apps in a project at the same time. You always have to switch licenses before you load up the respective apps.

Personally, for now, I may roll back to the VR bundle with 3.10 wait and see if they release an update to Helix in thier pack, as I quite like the sound of the Ampeg Suite instead of installing this update so graciously provided by team R2R and DECiBELLE and wait and see if they provide the Ampeg Suite for us to try now as well.

Arigato R2R and DECiBELLE

Peace and good health to all

Installs OK, but I cannot change the preset. I get the error "Could not decrypt the asset [error -1116]". This is a new installation, I had never installed Helix before. Tried anyway to wipe out all traces and reinstall, but the error persists. Any clue?

I tried it on a completly clean machine and it failed too.
It seems to work for 98% of the users

Does not work. I'm getting "Failed to get favorite names. Service is not online. fcode -82071

Using FL Studio 64bit. Previous VR release worked fine.

Interesting! I've been running v3.11 with their v3.0 keygen for quite some time.

For anybody who is getting the "Could not decrypt the asset [error -1116]" error, try uninstalling, then go to C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Line 6 and delete that folder. Re install and use keygen to register. Start Helix and pick a preset. Helix will automatically start installing the factory presets. That should do it. Enjoy.

I have Helix rack and the native plug-in. I own almost any guitar amp sim out there from neural amplitude etc etc. line 6 helix is a chapter in its own, especially when combined with some top notch irs is killer. I am realy happy that this is shared here! Enjoy it guys it’s a treasure.

At first had the same error message as everybody, then I uninstalled VR and reinstalled this one again, now seems to work A-OK, all the presets loads etc...

...But I find the interface absolutely ugly! don't know how to manage things, graphically speaking there is no rack, no amps, no lamps, no cabs, no microphones and no real buttons / switches...

I think they should make a little effort in presenting things, I dunno how to play with that ugly thing! Horrible!

Woaaaahhh! Beuuurrrrkkk (vomiting)!
I'm alive!!! :D Isn't it astounding??? ;)

I'm of the exact opposite opinion. Personally, it's refreshing to see an interface that's more simple and functional and doesn't try so hard to look realistic.

The minimalist graphics is probably one of the reasons it's so much lighter than all of its competitors. I do like looking at a fancy GUI as much as the next guy, but I find that this minimalist GUI helps me stay focussed rather than tending to get biased based on the look of the amp or effect.

My only gripe with the interface is that the scroll wheel funcionality is weird. If the cursor is on blank space, it scrolls through the list of parameters. But if it's on a parameter slider, it changes the value of the parameter. This is frustrating when you're scrolling through the list and suddenly you land on a slider and start changing parameter values that you might have had perfectly dialled in. Not fun at all.

It might be a bit jarring if you suddenly switch from say a Neural DSP plug-in to this, but take your time to familiarise yourself a bit with the GUI and you'll be up and running real soon. Also if you're finding this interface difficult, I doubt you'll have fun with the hardware units like the Axe FX or the Kemper.

Before the arrival of computers and digital in my life, my setup was very simple: a guitar (preferably a Lespaul with two humbuckers), sometimes with one or two pedals, and a Marshall tube combo or equivalent.

It's true that I can't help but hope to retrieve in the digital world the legendary simplicity and authenticity I had in the past with my old analog gear...

For now, speaking of virtual guitar plugs, I stick with Amplitube and TH-U, plus sometimes Guitar Rig for some very special FX or tricks that I can't obtain with the two others...

But if I had to choose, only Amplitube give me some of the "gritty" / "wild" / "raw" sensations I had with my old analog gear. All the others, including this one, are far too... polite, sophisticated, "raffinés" to really pretend to emulate a real amp and guitar gear.

If (in an imaginary situation) a developer would ask me for an advice about conception, I would say to her / him:

"If your plug don't scream "FUCK YOU" when you plug your axe in the soundcard and play the first chords of "Anarchy in the UK", then you're on a very wrong way... Your plugin must be RUDE and TOUGH and have NO MERCY on the ears, because it's the essence of what Rock'n'Roll is!"
I'm alive!!! :D Isn't it astounding??? ;)

None of R2R's Helix Native Releases have worked for me since version 1.70 - I keep getting the same error as others:
"Failed to connect to DSP engine, code -8201" and "Failed to get favourite names. Service is not online. [code -8207]"

One last thing I could try is to install it in the default location instead of in my custom folder on my "D:" drive. . .

I cleared everything out with Revo Uninstaller again, and then installed the 3.01 VR release - it seems to be working just fine. :)

Mind you, I rarely trust VR releases because they're cracked with Brute force cracking methods that result in freezes, time outs, time bombs, and general finickiness. That said, I haven't had any trouble whatsoever with VR's Toontrack stuff - it all seems to work well for me. VR's Accusonus releases are "so so". . . not perfect, but they do work (75 - 80% maybe?)
